Five stars on quality of material. The mechanics are simple and the hardware is stout.I have not used it yet, however, I purchased this to help keep deep ditches clean.

Cheaply made. Do not buy!!!!
I used this item one time and it completely failed. First, one of the metal claws broke, and then the top piece that holds the claws open also snapped. The quality is extremely poor and nowhere near worth the money. I would strongly recommend NOT buying this product. It feels cheaply made and did not hold up to even a single use. Save your money and look for a better-built product from another company.

Worked great underwater
our dock ladder fell into the lake (appx 20ft deep) and we ordered this in an attempt to retrieve it. It took 3 casts to find it, but we rescued the ladder, a couple of our neighbors' chairs, their cooler, a hammer, and a speed square.
