I’ve gone through more mustache waxes than I care to admit, and just about all of them call it quits the moment summer rolls around. But this one? It actually holds its ground. We’re talking brutal heat—like stepping into a furnace—and it still keeps my mustache looking sharp. No sagging, no greasy mess. Just a solid, clean hold that doesn’t budge. It’s easy to scoop, not overly stiff, and gives me a few seconds to shape things before it locks in. No strange smell, no residue—just smooth performance. If your stache tends to give up when the temps rise, this stuff changes the game.

Best Mustache Wax in the world. Sticky and holds a great shape. Through out the day to freshen yourself, wash your face with cold water only, it will last all day. I wouldn’t leave it in for more than one day. I buy this product in bulks of three. I would never want to be out of it. It makes the perfect strong man mustache.

I've been using this mustache wax for a while now, and overall, it's a great product. It offers excellent hold and keeps my mustache in place throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy. One of the things I really appreciate is how cleanly it washes out—no residue or buildup left behind. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is the scent. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not my favorite. If the fragrance were improved or toned down a bit, this would be a perfect product in my book. Still, if you're looking for a reliable, non-greasy mustache wax that does the job well, this one’s definitely worth trying.

If you're new to mustach wax definitely get something from fisticuffs/grave before shave. Great brand. Great customer service and I've liked all their products. The best part about this product is the ease of use to easily scoop out of the tin and apply to your stache. Takes a few goes to get the amount you want to apply for the hold you want but the ease that you can do this is awesome. I keep a tin at my desk at work. Not the strongest hold in the world if that's what you're looking for. Though in my experience the strong hold wax I've liked you need to bust out the hair dryer to melt the wax a little... Which is not convenient if you need to quickly apply some wax. Scent on this one is nice as well. Subtle citrus and some faint spice. Like a citrus musk cologne. Overall great product if you're okay with a medium hold.

this stuff is amazing if i had only known eailer been using glue sticks for ever but this product changed my life it lasts all day and in the heat no more leaning stache

The Fisticuffs "Grave Before Shave" mustache wax is easy to use, it warms with your fingers, holds well but gently, has a pleasant light aroma, and keeps my "stache" in place without looking greasy or stiff.

Let me preface this review by saying I once owned and operated a beard care company, so I have knowledge in ingredients, their properties and how they should preform. The hold is medium. Starts pretty tacky but “melts” into stache well. Application is smooth and no lumps once you brush it in. I ended up returning this item. The product I received smelled as if the carrier oils had expired. Whether prior to batching or expiring sitting on a shelf at an Amazon warehouse. Either way, I tried to fight through the sour smell, but I could not bear it. Which is unfortunate because I was excited about this product. Maybe I just received a “bad batch” but I decided to try a different company.

Great stuff. Really holds well. The smell isn't the greatest, but I don't hate it. I'll buy it again.
