Wedges are great for the price point and the customer service is even better. I was mistakenly sent a 52 and two 56 degrees instead of one each of a 52,56 and a 60. Within a day of sending an email explaining that I’d gladly swap out one 56 for a 60, Alex instead said: “no worries I’ll just send out a 60 to you.” Within a week it was delivered. 6 star service!!! Now about the wedges. I can’t find anything to gripe about. Well balanced and well crafted. They should last a long while outside of possibly the grips. Which are fine but at $100 for 3 I wasn’t expecting Golf Pride grips. Now about them being illegal?? I haven’t noticed any difference between these and my “legal” wedges in terms of performance. I’m sure with any golf equipment it’s more about the player anyway. So I’d say unless you’re a label queen or single digit handicap, these wedges are pretty perfect.

Great wedges for the price. I did noticed that my golf shots do stop right after landing on the green. Overall I’m happy with these clubs. Their build quality is similar to the high end brands. These are definitely going to be part of my golf bag.

Crazy spin!! On a 30 yard chip shot the ball checks and comes back like 3-6 feet. Like it’s on a string:)

There is no insane back spin from the barely visible microgrooves, microgrooves that are "illegal". Using the term "illegal is a good way to sell cheap chinese knock-offs for people looking for some advantage. The supposed advantage will never be realized. There is zero bounce to the grind, these will dig a divot to China (where maybe you can return it?) The back spin is there, just not any better than a Ping or a Volke. I gave it three stars as it does work, and I guess if you are using a rusty wedge from 2004 this might be an upgrade, so for $99 for three wedges, sure, enjoy them, but there is no magic back spin obtained. The Microgroove, you have to use a magnification 40x to even be able to distinguish if there are [illegal] grooves cut into the face. Those aren't going to do anything for you, these are nothing like a Ping Eye 2 with the knife edge square cut grooves. Again, if you don't have anything else in your bag but an old rusty 60°, you'll like these just fine, but if you are an experienced player with a descent set of wedges, you aren't going to gain anything by the "illegal" grooves.

The hatching across the clubface is so light, all it does is trap grass and dirt from the divot. Absolutely NO backspin. At all. Save your $, and get a good Vokey wedge.

Have only used once, but very satisfied so far. Delivered timely and in perfect condition.

Great value wedges, although not for tournament play or when you’re playing with someone who always acts like he has his/her own wedgie. Short game wonders that stick where you land. Repair those deep ball divots on the green. Fun sticks, even worth a grip upgrade.

Great set of wedges. Very forgiving on the short game. You have to commit instead of trying to control with these clubs. Only downside is that it scuffs the golf balls you are playing with.

As advertised. Got a massive amount of spin from a green side bunker, which normally is not going to happen for me. The group I was golfing with were shocked that the ball just stuck where it landed, had to let the cat out of the bag about the clubs haha. Great purchase so far.
