I bought this product 2 months ago as I was having issues with sensitive skin. I had planned to use this product temporarily until my skin felt back to normal. However I will be sticking with this as it is so gentle on the skin and yet lasts a long time - all day I feel fresh even while working out intensely. It’s easy to apply and protects from any odours all day (6 - 8 hours). I like the non toxic composition and neutral smell of the product.

Okay, so I don’t usually leave reviews cause I think products can usually speak for themselves but I felt the need to review this one. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now. I changed because I found out I was pregnant and wanted a less chemical deodorant. I was a bit wary of buying this if I’m honest between some of the negative reviews, the fact it’s lavender scented and well, I’m a creature of habit. However, I’m so glad I did. The scent is beautiful. It lasts all day. I have caught myself sniffing myself and it smells like a really nice perfume when the scent settles. I can’t pin point what it smells like but the first time I caught it I immediately went “that’s a nice perfume!” Realising that perfume was me! I can say this lasts me the whole day, I’m not wet, sticky or sweaty in any way. The fragrance lasts as well. I have only ever felt the need to re apply during the Scottish heat wave because we were all melting but that’s an unusual thing here really. The other bonus I have noticed is the after shave bumps and rash, these are minimal. I used to feel like my deodorants stung when I put them on and and sometimes went without it at all because of this. I do not have this issue with this deodorant. I will give you a tip. This does feel wetter than typical deodorants, I have started putting this on first after I’m dried and getting ready in reverse so bottom half then top. This way I don’t feel wet when placing it on. I have however been in a rush a few times and have placed it on last as I’m heading out the door and haven’t experienced any downsides to it. No staining, no real sticking. Just personal preference to not feel “wet” when I have a t shirt on. Okay, I think I’ve rambled enough. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend this product. If you are looking for a product that makes you feel better about less chemicals and more friendly in terms of econess id say this is a pretty good deodorant for that. Sure, it’s not a 99p deodorant you could pick up at the super market but there is far dearer products out there as well. This is a decent priced, great quality product and honestly, with this less is more and I think you’ll find it’ll last longer too. I’ll definitely be trying out the other scents and for an extra couple of quid, I feel better about knowing it’s less chemicals going near my body during pregnancy. 5* highly recommend :)

Love Salt of the Earth roll on. It's effective and smells lovely. Vetiver & Citrus is by far my favourite though. Lavender and Vanilla is a funny one.

Fantastic deodorant! Had previously used Salt of the Earth salt block deodorant but found it very fragile. This works well - stopping any odour for at least 24 hours. Not sticky and leaves no white marks. Works for both myself and my husband. Easy to apply and the deodorant bottle itself is sturdy. Will buy again

I have sensitive skin so tend to stay away from many deodorants. Decided to give this a go as all natural. As a retired aromatherapist was slightly wary of the lavender vanilla combo which can be a bit full on but needed have worried as the smell is subtle. A really lovely combination and not overpowering in any way. It also works! Will be trying others in the range.

It is fairly good but after a week or so my armpits felt really itchy but a worth it product. Smells amazing and very good/safe for kids/teenagers!

Love these products. This roll on is what I wished for and will be used in my travel kit for festivals etc. It goes on smoothly, retains that amazing scent without overwhelming olfactory senses, and has stayed fresh for 10 hours today. Go get it!!!

I tried this product twice to ensure I was being fair in my consideration, as I really wanted to like it, so I could help towards sustainability, but I simply cannot recommend this product. I can roll a tremendous amount onto my body but despite going for a particularly potent combination, have no notable fragrance at all, immediately after putting it on. I don't even feel like I have anything on during the day, which has me randomly questioning if I applied it. The packages are generally half the size of other branded products, yet twice the price, if not more and quite frankly, if I am paying a premium for a product, I expect to be able to smell and benefit from it. The last time I had this poor experience would be after using a supermarket own brand for about 60p, which this product is clearly not (even on offer). I also must acknowledge the great elephant in the room - not me - I mean the sustainability elements of the product. After starting to write this, I realised I didn't really know what the claims were, I had presumed that salt of the earth was also a reference to reducing waste, but this product does the opposite, with the roll on, you cannot refill and the product simply doesn't last, so yet more waste for landfill. My naivety I realise, but nevertheless, if you are producing a product of this type (kinder to you, kinder to the environment), I fail to understand why you wouldn't consider this, especially given the opportunity to do so, instead it feels that this product is simply riding the coat tails of a Eco-friendly in an attempt to generate more sales.
