It has been such a positive experience that several have told me they will acquire their own copies. Teaching structures and processes is more effective when they can color code. I highly recommend this workbook.

Useful visual aid for neuroanatomy
I bought this on the recommendation of my neuroanatomy professor and it can definitely be helpful. The graphics are accurate and big enough for me, and the descriptions and explanations add extra understanding. The book is broken into sections in a way that makes sense

It's not a coloring book...rather technical drawings
UPDATE: The book states that a free digital copy is included. I went to access it and found that it's on online version on the Elsevier website. There is no PDF, no MOBI for Kindle. I don't understand this publishing company. On Amazon there is no preview of the book. The first version only has the table of contents, but doesn't show what the drawings look like. My favorite publishing company, No Starch, they put an entire chapter on the free preview. It's one chapter. It's not like someone is going to copy one single chapter. And if they do, what good would it do them. Not to mention, it's common sense...it would save on people sending back books. It's not a coloring book. I'm giving it two stars for the content only! Not for the coloring portion of the book. The drawings in the book that you are supposed to color are technical drawings. TECHNICAL DRAWINGS! They already contain shading, which makes it difficult to color with color pencils. Gel pens work better but, still...I would not recommend this book for coloring. There are a lot...and I mean a lot of drawings that have a pin that you are supposed to color but, they are already colored in by the author with black. You can't even color what the book is requesting that you color. The drawings are great technical drawings but, that's what they are; Technical drawings. They are not vector drawings that you can color in. Some of the images, I've thrown into Photoshop and removed the spots and the black gradient on the images to color the ones I want. The text seems to be great. I might use it for learning only...not coloring. Haven't decided yet if I am going to send it back or not.
