I'd give it 10 starts if I could
I ordered this to replace a single 120v NuWave cooktop that I had been using for over a year and was falling apart. Setup was easy. The most difficult thing was going to buy the plug which took all of 20 minutes. I purchased this based on the reviews on the other configuration which K & H stated was the same unit. I was amazed at the power this unit has compared to the NuWave. This unit can boil 8 oz of water in a 1 qt pan in aprox 45 seconds! Yes, I timed it. There are 17 cooking levels which I was concerned about compared to what I was used to but I have cooked and fried numerous meals and find these are more than enough. After bringing the heat up to what I want, maintenance levels are usually 4 or under so there are plenty of choices. The unit shuts off immediately if it detects a spill. I do not have children so I have not used the safety lock which is not enabled by default. The touch controls are easy and simple to understand - turn the unit on, choose a burner to use, and choose a power level - that's it. My only caution would be to make sure you are ready with your ingredients before turning on the burner, especially if you use a high power level. The pan is hot almost immediately so not a lot of time to start looking for oil or prepping food while it is heating up. I am using this as a counter top unit but it can be mounted as a built-in in the counter. To summarize, this is an incredibly powerful cooktop at a price that is far below it's competition. I am 100% happy with the unit and, if I was remodeling, would buy 2 of these and mount them in the countertop as my only cooking source. Time will tell how the hold up but it appears the unit is well built and I expect to be using this in the years to come. If you are concerned that this review is too glowing let me assure you I am only a customer and have no affiliation or connection with the manufacturer or seller. It's simply the best induction cooktop I have ever used and if you have a 240v power source I highly recommend this unit.

Great cooktop for vacation property - second review
First time with an induction cooktop - it is fast! Takes up very little space on the countertop and looks nice and sleek. Back with a second review: we have had this now for more than half a year in the hotel suite and it is a great cooktop. I highly recommend it. You can't get better for the price and for how safe and easy it is to cook on it. I have had only compliments from guests and never a complaint. I purchased a good inexpensive set of pots and pans from IKEA, and they all work great. I like that the cooktop won't start without a pan on, and that it's cool at touch. I think this is one of the rare induction cooktops that has the "vertical" design, so you save so much space on the countertop. I am posting some more pictures to show how nice it looks. Very happy with the purchase.

I love it. More recent (Jan. 2025) models might not be as reliable. Wish it had smaller footprint.
Update to all the below- I bought a second one, but it is a slightly different model, and after using it a handful of times, the LED lettering went haywire and is unreadable, so I am returning the second one that I just purchased and changing from 5 stars to 4 stars, because I still like my original one. It's a shame because it seems to have more power than the one I bought 2 years ago (I'm wondering if my first one is just losing power over time?) - BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL POST ABOUT MY FIRST PURCHASE OF THIS ITEM: Wider coils than my old induction cooktop for much more even heat, and more heat level selections for perfect simmering. It's too easy to slip and touch the 'OFF" button and shut it off though*, but overall a great value, glad I bought it. Update- 1 year later, it's still working nicely; I would buy one again if I needed another. Interesting that it says that the 12 different power levels are not evenly spaced; you'll want to experiment to figure out which power level to use for whatever you are heating. Reasonably priced, I contacted a manufacturer of a much more expensive cooktop asking what made their cooktop better that the price was higher, but they never answered me. It would be more handy if there was infinitely-variable power control knob you could turn like they have on gas and electric resistance stoves, but I'm quite happy with this the way it is. I think this cooktop power setgtgings are achieved by constantly turning the coils off and on, less on time and more off time for lower power levels, more time on and less time off for higher power. 17 months after purchase- *The only negative thing is that it's way too easy to accidentally shut it off; brush against the off button when you set down a spoon or spatula, and it quietly shuts off unnoticed -this would be better if pressing and hold the "Lock" button would lock it in the "ON" position, in addition to locking it off. Does anyone know how long I might reasonably expect this to keep working? Or how long induction cooktops can generally be expected to last? 21 months edit- It would really be nice if there were identical controls on either end of the cooktop that I could choose which set of controls are active and which side not so I don't hit them accidently. The problem with controls up front and center is they are too convenient and I'm forever brushing against them and changing things accidently. Still 5 stars though so far.

It's a really nice product and I like it!
Hi, You're right. And I asked electrician to re do the wire according to your instruction, it is red now. And it is really quick now! Thank you so much to help me out and I really impressed by your customer service as well as the product! Sorry about the comment I have made and I have corrected it. I showed my cooktop to my friends and as well as the whole story, and they are all impressed by your customer service. I really appreciate. It is 220V. And you tried the stove as you said but it didn't get Red when I turned on to power level 9 after ONE minute and longer!!! You said that it should be after 6 seconds it goes red. No. I checked my two cooktops I bought at the same time, both of them not got red after minutes. But they did turned hot indeed. Just not red and not hot enough though. I am so disappointed at that one. I renovated my house with these 2 cooktops. I designed my countertops to fit these cooktops. But now I can't use these to cook and even I can't remove them as well. It will be a big hole on the countertop if I get rid of these cooktops!!! I really don't know what should I do. I attach my new Kitchen photos. It looks so nice if you don't count on them to cook.

Works great... until it doesn't
On the plus side, it looks sleek and modern, the controls are easy to use and it heats very effectively (assuming you have cookware suitable for an induction cooktop). It is remarkable how the surface does not get hot, so it is definitely safer if there are children around. On the negative side, let me tell you about our our dismal experience... First, the unit that was shipped to us had only one working burner. You have to wonder about quality control if it left the factory like that. Second, the company sent the replacement unit to the wrong address. The timing of the failure was terrible as I was about to leave the country for some months so I needed the replacement to be delivered to my neighbor across the street. I notified the company by email and in the box, on top of the defective cooktop, I put a sheet of paper with writing in fluorescent orange that said something like "DO NOT SEND REPLACEMENT TO <my address> as there will be no one there. Send instead to <near neighbor's address>". They didn't take any notice of either communication and sent it to an empty house where, not surprisingly, someone stole it from the doorstep. After they refused to admit their mistake, I took up the matter with Amazon's dispute center and they told K&H to send me another - to my near neighbor's house. When I returned from overseas, I installed it and it worked great for the 2-1/2 weeks I was there. Then, back overseas. Third, it failed again - this time with a BANG! So, because of the pandemic, it was not safe to travel so I didn't return to the house for another year. This time my wife was with me and she enjoys cooking and she really liked the cooktop. It was working great for 4 or 5 weeks and then, while she was adjusting the level on one of the burners, there was bang. The lights went out. Not only did it trip the circuit breaker that is dedicated to the cooktop but it also tripped the upstream breaker that supplies power to the whole basement on the main switchboard (the cooktop was installed in the kitchen of a "mother-in-law unit"). I was able to reset the circuit breaker on the main board (I learned that you have to push circuit breakers to the fully "off" position before you can reset them to the "on" position) but I could not reset the circuit breaker for the cooktop. I was hoping we could keep using one burner but no, that was not possible. I later removed the screws from the bottom cover and there is a circuit board for each burner. In the second photo, you can see that there is a fuse on the circuit board but on the third photo, you can see that the fuse on the circuit board associated with the other burner has vaporized! Fourth, customer support is pathetic. After the cooktop blew up, I obviously wanted to get it repaired immediately so we could, you know, cook with it. I assumed there was an authorized repair center in each major city, including Washington DC so I could take it there and get it fixed. Wrong! There is no information on the website about repair/service. I called the help line but just got "We can't come to the phone right now..." and I sent several emails. For 5 days I heard nothing. Then I received an email saying, "We apologize for the inconvenience, however, you have surpassed your one-year warranty. You purchased your cooktop on February 28, 2020, it was delivered on March 6, 2020, due to this information, this means your one-year warranty is no longer valid.". That was not what I asked! I knew it was out of warranty; I asked where I could get it repaired. I was so angry - while all this time is wasted, we can't use the cooktop to cook! I sent an email that said, "I am not asking for it to be repaired under warranty. I am asking where I can get it repaired; I assume it needs a new circuit board. Are you saying I throw it away and must buy a new one? It only had two months of use." to which I received the response, "To repair your cooktop it will cost $80.00 USD excluding shipping. If you would like to move further with this process please mail your cooktop to 4300 W Lake Mary Blvd #1010, Lake Mary, FL 32746 PO Box 365”. Please include inside the package a check of $80.00 USD written out to Kitchen and Home, as well as the return address. " So, no authorized repair centers, no ability to repair it myself since you can't buy spare parts and they publish no repair manuals. The only option is to send it to Florida (by now I had thrown away the box so I'd have to find another box and cut it to size and find suitable padding and risk them saying they can't repair it because it was damaged in transit). No indication of how long it will take and time wasted shipping it in both directions. Meanwhile, we can't cook so I bought another - the third. Fifth, it could be a coincidence but I doubt it: our house central heat pump, made by Carrier, had not been used for weeks but 2 days after the cooktop blew up, I noticed an error message on the display of the thermostat that said "Call technician" and the detail message was "Cannot communicate with blower". A technician was summoned - the controller board was toast and had to be replaced at a cost of $1255! Plus the cost of having the technician come out. I am 99% certain that the short circuit in the cooktop sent a power disruption through the house's wiring and destroyed the heat pump's electronics. Sixth, I was disappointed that this product needs ventilation underneath as you can see in the 2nd and 5th segments in the diagram from the installation manual, and the picture of the fan under the one of the burners. That means you can't have a drawer immediately underneath. Fortunately I had planned on an open space under the cooktop for the microwave oven so it is not a big problem for me but a warning - and the complete installation instructions - should be on the Amazon page. I'll also mention that they provide clips to hold the cooktop down (last photo) - but you can only use them if your countertop is made of wood. On the last segment of the diagram they show the installation of the clips but clearly that is not going to work with stone. So, this is a great cooktop but only while it works so DO NOT BUY IT, both because it probably won't last long and second because you can't get it repaired. Reading through the other reviews, I see other people complaining of failures too. Really disappointing. I have a hole in the granite countertop that fits this cooktop and nothing else so I'm stuck.

Clean and Efficient
So far I’m very pleased with this stove top. It cooks very fast and it looks great on my granite. The controls are easy to use and work just by touching, not having to press. This was my concern because pressing buttons do not last long. I tested to see if pots stay in place while cooking and they DO NOT slide off as a review I read claimed. I’m very pleased I bought this because it’s easy to keep clean and the surface does not present any harm from burning your hand after you’re done cooking although it notifies you that it’s hot. It’s quiet and it instantly boils water in about 3-4 min using a tea kettle.

Design flaw or are they delicate?
Installed and used my first one for nearly a year and operation was flawless until I dropped a heavy glass cup from a cabinet about 3 feet above the cooktop. The glass cup shattered in dozens of pieces and thought the cooktop survived without any damage till looked again after cleaning up the glass cup and found it cracked. All my fault and bought a second unit and replaced and all was good for about a month. Since I have been using the induction cooktop for nearly a year, I have stopped treating it like a delicate instrument and have progressed to using cookware (classic all stainless steel RevereWare) made before induction cooktops were made since it passes the magnet test and the ultimate luxury in cookware is using something so light yet cooks so evenly. However the other day while using the all stainless steel RevereWare 7" frying pan I angled the pan while keeping a side on the cooktop so it would remain on (lifting the pan off the cooktop turns it off) to distribute the olive oil before adding the food. Within minutes of this pan tilt, the cooktop made a loud pop, tripped the circuit breaker and once the circuit breaker was reset will not power up. I have since swapped the ceramic cooktop surface of the unit I dropped the glass cup with the unit that for lack of a better term, blew itself up. I will not tilt cookware on the unit and report back my findings at some future time.

Works Great!!
Love this unit...and great service. First unit was DOA, but we did not heeok it up for several months. Company sent out a new one no questions asked...and accepted the dead unit. The replacement works fantastic. High power...is much more powerful and CONSISTENT than any pair of single 1500/1800W 120V units - we have tried several - Duxtop, NuWave PIC, and another random unit (don't know why people love the NuWave...it is really terrible and shuts off randomly)... We have demo'd Bosch, Viking,...etc and several other burners...some sort of combination K&H unit will make it into our perm kitchen (right now we are using this during our whole house reno...) Unit requires 240V / 20A breaker with #12 wiring or better. The questions and reviews stating a 30A breaker is acceptable are WRONG. This unit is designed to operate on a 2-pole 20A breaker. If you already have a 30A/240V circuit and want to use this appliance on that circuit, you need to REPLACE the 30A 2-pole breaker with a 20A 2-pole breaker. It is acceptable to reduce the breaker size, not increase. If you're concerned about safety, a 2-pole 20A GFCI breaker can be installed to power the cooktop (this is especially important if you're using a plug & receptacle arrangement on TOP of the counter). If you really want to prevent a dangerous condition with a toddler, a 2-pole 20A switch can be used to turn off the unit between uses - Leviton makes a 2-pole PILOT toggle switch (light on) - 3032-PLC or 3032-PLR
