My second purchase of this charger. Used daily at work no complaints. The flash feature is good for small jobs or forcing a dead battery to charge. My first one was over 3 years old with lots of abuse before it quit.

I've had a glass mat battery on this charger for 6 months while working on the vehicle. So far, so good. It is completely automatic (read Idiot Proof) and has LEDs to show charging/maintaining status. Only downside is that it does not start up again after a power failure, just sits in the "wait" mode until you physically push the Start button. I haven't had to contact Tech Support about this unit yet.

I have the older version of this which is 8 amp. I saw this was 10 amp and got 2 of them. Hooked up both up to test and see if they would charge and maintain over a period of time. So far they have done great. Highly advise to buy these and this brand...very good to me through the years...

This thing is the perfect size I was looking for a charger and power supply for programming or testing electrical. Only downside since it only puts out a max of 10 amps is during programming, All vehicle lights, interior and exterior need to be OFF as well as radio/HVAC for programming. Whenever the module cycles or cycles the ignition, voltage will drop as systems will turn on and this does not have enough amps to support that so be aware. I would be 5 star If it supported 15 or 20 amps and can hold 13.6V with the door open.

this quit working after one month. The company would not approve replacement without jumping thru hoops for them. Customer service is awful. Sent everything they asked for ...pictures, proof of purchase , etc, no replacement

I bought this mainly for the service mode function. Works good. It's not powerful enough to be used with a weak battery. But as long as you have a good battery, this will keep the voltage steady and above 13v. I have used it only once to charge a battery over night and it worked great as a slow charger. It's not heavy and the hanger helps a lot with hanging it under the hood and not worrying about it sliding off. I just wish the hanger was made out a more sturdy material.
