Most clear proteins I’ve tried so far have either mixed great OR had good flavor. The Animal Clear Whey Isolate has the best of both worlds and I love it. It mixes very nice in shaker bottles, never any clumps, very light without the regular whey thickness, and the flavor is great (blueberry açaí)! Would highly recommend this as it seems to be a great bang for your buck!

It dissolves seamlessly into water, leaving no foam or residue. I’ve found that letting it sit for a few seconds after mixing ensures the perfect consistency…I’ve even started keeping a pitcher of it ready at home! I liked this one alot. Tasted great, didnt make you feel crappy after drinking it. Mixxing it was alittle difficult? But that might have been the bottle and my lack of patience when mixing. Highly worth buying

I've been on the hunt for finding a clear protein to rotate with my chocolate ones I drink. This protein is alright. I got the blueberry flavor. It is pretty sour and almost reminds me of a pre-workout taste wise. It does foam up when mixed which was expected, as with most clear proteins. Also it leaves that weird taste in your mouth after drinking it for several hours after drinking - even brushing teeth, using mouthwash and eating does not get rid of it. I will continue looking for one that doesn't leave a weird taste in your mouth after drinking.

ANIMAL's new Clear Whey has become my replacement breakfast for days when I'm hitting the gym early. I used to train fasted, I was never a fan of this though. I just couldn't hit the weights on a full stomach, it was a disaster. This allows me to get a substantial amount of protein without feeling bloated. Things I liked: Low in artificial sweetener and reduced lactose. These 2 things really seem to reduce belly bloat I get with many Protein shakes. No noticeable protein 'flatulence' either. Seemed to blend easy, and smooth. I didn't need to shake it like crazy to get a non-chunky drink. Pretty easy to fit in macros. It's 1g carbs and the rest is protein. It can be used no matter what diet. What I didn't like: This doesn't bother me, but may turn some of you off, it's not ridiculously sweet. I like ANIMAL's flavor profiles on their products because they really aren't super sweet. I'm not a fan of sweets. And to be honest, the reduced sweetness tends to mean a lot less artificial sweeteners, so no sugar free gummy bear bathroom blow outs. Overall, I think they did what they set out to do with the product. I have places I already plan to use it, like for an easy breakfast. I think this stuff would be amazing mixed in with yoghurt or cottage cheese. I may even attempt protein pancakes with it. The price point seems fair as well. Nice job ANIMAL a well deserved 5 stars.

This has been my favorite protein product for a long time now. It’s a little too sweet for me but a couple drops of lemon juice fix that issue. Overall it’s refreshing and because I have a hard time getting all my protein in it’s very helpful. Unfortunately, I just canceled my subscribe and save which has been set for two tubs every six weeks for quite some time. The reason I canceled is because I opened my most recent purchase and instead of the normal fruity smell, it smells like vanilla. I make this stuff by the gallon because I drink it between one and three times a day so I thought maybe my nose is off I’ll just mix up a batch and the smell will go away. Made my gallon. Stuck it in the refrigerator. The next morning when I went to use it, I poured it in the glass and realize it was not a mistake. This thing smells like vanilla. It’s not subtle! I looked at my empty tub, which is a different lot number and the new tub and the ingredients are the same. Yet, it has clearly changed. This concern me, so I wrote the manufacturer and told them about the problem their response “ our formula has not changed” my response was something has changed because it doesn’t smell or taste the same. Perhaps you have cross contamination with your vanilla product line or perhaps your suppliers have changed your ingredients and you haven’t found out about it yet. I sent them photographs of the badge numbers. (both tubs in my most recent order had the same). Then I realized I might have my previous order in my pantry still and sure enough if I did and I opened a brand new tub and no vanilla smell! There’s something wrong with the most recent batch! I communicated all of this to the manufacturer who simply is not taking this seriously. I offered to sell send samples of the new tubs and the old tub so they could compare and they’re just sticking with the corporate line that oh there’s been no change. So now, both tubs that are not cheap are going to the FDA along with my older pantry tub. That’s a lot of money for me but it’s ridiculous that a company that makes a food product that has a consumer reporting again and again diligently that there’s something wrong. Your ingredients have changed. It’s been contaminated. I don’t know what it is, but it’s not the same. I even asked them if they kept badge samples they could easily take this batch and another batch stick their nose in it and tell! At one point, they said something like they would refer to production, but they never did So I give up. I have to go the government or out which is going to be money and hassle for me, but I cannot stomach. The thought of someone else getting sick because they have an unknown allergen or contamination or whatever is wrong with this. It sucks that I run a protein deficit and have to supplement and this was my favorite product and yet they’re giving me the blow off, but that’s life Buyer beware!!!!!

I came across this brand when trying to find a great tasting protein Isolate, drink for me. I found that a lot of the protein shakes taste disgusting, clumpy and chalky. I did end up getting the trial sizes of this product with 3 different flavors, and it came with a shaker bottle. I have to say this flavor was the best out of those 3. It's like your drinking juice, its so smooth. I did find that if you do not shake it enough. You will have some clumps floating around, but if you shake it vigorously, then let it settle, it would be smooth with no clumps. You can drink it room temperature or ice cold. Either way it's good. It is a little sweet, but that doesn't bother me because it tastes so good. It smells like candy and packs a good amount of protein in that 1 scoop.

I like the concept of this protein powder but it's way too sweet for me. I have to add more water than it calls for to calm that sweetness down.
