This SCART cable is fantastic, really makes a big difference to image quality especially if you've been using standard or el cheapo cables so far, the cable is thicker and the connectors have that quality perfect fit, no more interference noise, and the colours - wow.... rich and vibrant just as they should be! 100% Highly recommended this cable.

This scart lead is extremely robust, impressed with the build quality but it is the performance that really wins out. I have an original wharfdale DVD that was not delivering color to the TV, honestly I thought I was going to have to dump it, a friend told me before making this decision try a good quality scart lead, although slightly sceptical I thought at £11 was worth a try. Wow was I pleased I listened, changed over to this lead, put on the dvd that was showing no colour and wow... Perfect colour again... Very pleased. I know you can buy cheaper leads and they may well be as effective as this one but I needed the gold plated version and I wanted build quality that would last.... For me great quality, effective and well worth the money.

After having a look around for a good quality scart cable I bought this 3m scart cable. Basically I was wanting to make a PlayStation 1 scart plug and this is ideal. It's a very thick cable with outer shielding and the audio wiring is also shielded. 3m cable, cut it in half and made 2 high quality PlayStation scart cables. Just had to source the PlayStation connector off aliexpress, they were about 27p each. After testing this cable I can say I'm very impressed and have already bought more. If anyone else plans on doing this you just have to add a 180 ohm resistor to pin 16 on scart heard, a 3 x 220uf capacitors, one on each of the RGB wires.

I wasn't sure about spending so much on a SCART cable but other reviews are true, this truly improves video quality. I use a Roku with an HDMI to SCART converter on my small Sony Trinitron TV, I always assumed that the static signal and sound was a result of using a cheap converter but after switching to this cable the picture and sound quality not just improved but honestly couldn't look any better. No static at all. I bought a second cable now to use for my Laser Disc player. The price is high but the quality is unmatched.

Selten schreibe ich eine Rezension für Artikel auf Amazon. In diesem Fall möchte ich jedoch meine Eindrücke teilen, da für mich die bereits vorhandenen Bewertungen ebenfalls kaufentscheidend waren. Die SCART-Schnittstelle ist an heutigen Geräten nicht mehr üblich - entsprechend ist der Markt für solche Leitungen überschaubar und wird primär von Anbietern minderwertiger Billigware vereinnahmt. Da über SCART jedoch viele analoge Signale sehr dicht nebeneinander übertragen werden, ist gerade hier eine vernünftige Qualität der verwendeten Signalleitung relevant. Folgende Schwachstellen habe ich bislang an anderen SCART Kabeln ausgemacht, die ich im Folgenden mit absteigender Relevanz und jeweiligem Vermerk auf Umsetzung an diesem Produkt aufführe: - Viele Kabel nutzen ungeschirmte Leitungen. Sowohl "Innenleiter" als auch "Masse" werden nebeneinander als einfache Drähte geführt. Es ist also keinerlei Schirmung vor äußeren oder gegenseitigen Einflüssen vorhanden - von Wellenwiderstand brauchen wir gar nicht zu sprechen... Beim hier angebotenen Kabel hingegen sind sämtliche signalführenden Leitungen "koaxial" ausgeführt. Signalübersprechen oder Störeinkopplung konnte ich bei der von mir bestellen Leitungslänge von 1.5m nicht feststellen. Die Leitung ist trotz des großen Gesamtdurchmessers hinreichend geschmeidig, lässt sich also unproblematisch verlegen. - Oft sind die Steckergehäuse aus Kunststoff und somit völlig ungeschirmt. Die Signalpins sitzen lose in den Steckern und verkanten sich beim Stecken. Bei diesem Kabel ist das Steckergehäuse aus Metall. Es ist verschraubt und selbst die Schrauben sitzen in sauberen Metall-Gewinden, die vermutlich auch nach mehrfachem Öffnen der Stecker nicht ausleiern werden. Die Pins sitzen stabil und gerade, die Stecker lassen sich einwandfrei stecken. - Bei sämtlichen mir bislang untergekommenen Kabeln waren die Leitungen in den Steckern an den Signalpins gecrimpt. Das ist erst mal kein Problem - ich habe jedoch festgestellt, dass sich hier mit der Zeit Übergangswiderstände bilden. Z.t. hatte ich hier Werte > 20 Ohm, was bei einer mit 75 Ohm abgeschlossenen Leitung erheblich ist. Beim hier angebotenen Kabel sind die Stecker verlötet - diese mögliche Störquelle ist somit ausgeschlossen. Ich bin zu diesem Preis von dem hier angebotenen Kabel vollkommen überzeugt und kann eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Dennoch möchte ich an dieser Stelle zwei Punkte anbringen, die das Kabel mMn. noch weiter verbessern würden. In den Steckern sind die einzelnen Leitungen bereits relativ früh abisoliert - und somit Schirm und Signalleiter getrennt. Zwar sind äußere Störeinflüsse durch das auf Masse gelegte und metallische Steckergehäuse ausgeschlossen - im Sinne einer optimalen Signalintegrität könnte man den Schirm jedoch noch näher an Pins heranführen - zumal sich dieser Punkt ohne signifikanten Mehraufwand umsetzen ließe. Der zweite Punkt ist nur "kosmetischer" Art. Das glänzende Steckergehäuse zieht Fingerabdrücke "magisch" an und wirkt mMn. minderwertig. Schöner fände ich es, die Oberfläche wäre matt.

I needed a good scart to scart cable for my retro game setup. I was worried the length of the cable would ruin the quality, but no, it was perfectly fine. A full recommend from me.

En mi opinión, es el mejor euroconector que he comprado. La mayoría de los euroconectores que hay en el mercado son un trozo de plástico. Este está reforzado de metal y el conector es fuerte y ajusta bien. Yo lo utilizo para conectarlo a un convertidor HDMI y este el que mejor envía la señal analógica. Muy satisfecho.
