Love the scent of these plug in. They really do last a long time and the refreshing smell after you've been on a dog walk in the rain is very welcoming and removes the wet dog smells. Refills are very good value for money also. Definitely recommend

I rarely leave reviews unless something genuinely impresses me, and this definitely has. The slogan, "Freshness you never stop noticing," isn't just marketing - It's completely true. I can smell it in my bedroom from the hallway, and I've only got it on the lowest setting. Be warned... it's that good! On the highest setting it's almost too much. I've been using this brand since we got our kittens, but I'd never found the right scent for us until now. I'm not sure if it's because it's specifically designed for pet homes or if I just love the fragrance, but it doesn't just mask pet odours, it genuinely keeps the whole house smelling fresh and clean. No matter how spotless my house was, I always felt I could still smell that general "pet smell." I don't mean urine or anything unpleasant, just that scent that homes with cats or dogs can sometimes have. My husband says I just have an overly sensitive sense of smell, so maybe it's just me, but if you know, you know! Now my home just smells continuously fresh, and the fragrance matches the clean, tidy look of the house. I'll most likely be subscribing so I don't have to worry about this particular scent selling out when I need it. I've also paired it with the Air Wick odour-neutralising spray for those times when I want an extra burst of freshness. Together, they're the perfect combination.

Its solid, seems well built, and I have no complaints about the actual unit or the scents. The fragrance strength is nice, even on low, and I’m happy with how it freshens up a room and i so far have not gone nose blind to the changing smells. That said, the whole "lasts up to 90 days" claim is pretty misleading. That’s only if you run it for 12 hours per day on the lowest setting—but the problem is, there’s no built-in way to make it only run for 12 hours a day. It’s either on all the time or off all the time, so if you actually want to follow the 12-hour guideline, you either need to plug it into a smart plug or manually turn it on and off at the socket. Otherwise, if you just plug it in and leave it running, it’s going 24/7 and will last a maximum of 45 days. Even more frustrating, there’s no info anywhere on how long it lasts on medium or high settings. If you plan to run it 24/7 on high, you’re just guessing how long before you’ll need refills. Another thing I realized after buying is that the price isn’t great. I could have gotten the plug and four refills for about a third of the price by buying them separately, I would be mindful of this before purchasing. Overall, it’s a good product, and I do like how it works, but the way they market the runtime feels misleading. Would have rated it lower, but since the unit itself and the scents are great, I’m giving it 4 stars. I also ended up buying a smart plug and set it so that at 6 AM, it turns on for 1 hour, then off for 2 hours, and so on until 10 PM. Doing it this way gives bursts of fragrance throughout the day but only totals 6 hours of actual runtime. If the manufacturer’s estimates are accurate, this setup should make each refill last around 180 days.

Brilliant scent and value

Our previous Scentsy plug-in unit failed after many years. Thought we'd try something other than a wax burner and ordered this. Well pleased with the simplicity and fragrance. One observation : the plug-in does not have an inbuilt on/off switch and it's a tight squeeze to access the wall socket switch behind it. Other than that - perfect.
