Assembly was a breeze — took about 45 minutes max to put together. Just lay out the pieces in numerical order to make life easier. The bench came unfinished or maybe minimal clear coat (not sure), but I sanded this piece and put 2 coats of polyurethane (sanding in between coats). This results in a nicer looking, more durable, somewhat scratch-resistant and easier cleaning work surface. I have mine next to my grill under an awning, so it isn’t sitting under the direct sun 24/7, but here in Florida it will still get wet so I wanted to protect it more. Having it sealed should do the trick. The bottom shelf is the perfect size for 4 chlorine bottles (I measured before I bought), there’s plenty of room for some planting stuff, hooks for grilling or planting tools too. The drawer is sturdy as is the whole setup. The “sink” is nice to have but wasn’t a deal breaker. Most of the time, I keep a cutting board on top of it anyway. I added a couple of bar mats to the top tier and use silicone mats to put hot items while grilling to protect the wood. I also added a couple of strong magnets on the side to hold whatever metal tools I’m using at the moment. All in all, this is a pretty good find and is working very well for my needs. I do wish the wood was a little thicker, but this piece should last quite a while nevertheless.

This is a nice looking, light weight (but sturdy) and functional garden or work bench. It is light enough to move around easy and sturdy enough that you don't feel it is going to crack from a move. The instruction pictures can be a little deceiving. Need to pay attention to the details. The diagram does not always show the proper angle to know if you are holding the piece correctly. If you go slow and pay attention it does go together properly. I initially was rushing and misaligned some pieces. However, it was very easy to take back apart and start again. I used only a screw driver and hand tightened. The wood is soft (hence being light weight) and the screws could crack through easy at times if tightening pressure is too much. I managed to only have that happen once on me. Overall I am very happy with the product.

This is a great product very functional my mother-in-law loves it! Only a couple issues arose when putting it together due to lack of pre-drilled holes. The wood split in the drawer. I couldn’t put one screw in the top back because the wood was splitting and would have weakened it. Despite this it is a great product. If you get this I would recommend adding a couple pre-drilled holes it’s and extra step but I think it would be worth it.

We got 2. One had a little damage but not too critical and luckily not in a readily visible location. It is made of actual wood instead of particle board. Hardware was nice Extra screw here or there and nuts. The instructions were well organized with lattering and numbering on boards and hardware packets. It is pretty light, a man could lift it by himself. Everything could be assembled by one person. One board on the top shelf back was a little tricky to hold in place. Had to put in the screw one handed type deal. The pre assembled bits were done with some adhesive and small gold nails that are visible on the top surface. For longevity I would guess a couple years of use if left out in the elements. I did 5 stars but labeled as acceptable because I thought it had a good value for the cost. It does smell of stain so if that bothers you plan to assemble outside. It is package with lots of foam wrap and what I call forbidden Styrofoam. Styrofoam does get everywhere but not as bad as others since the foam is only on the box corners. Hardware was well packaged. Secured with a ribbon to the box and triple bagged in a bubble envelope than large plastic bag and then their individual packets. All ties were done to be easily undone which was nice. I used glue on the drawers as they are simple screw corners. Total assembly time for me with a drill was about 1 hour while watching tv.

The aesthetic is cute, and the height is nice. I will say… wear gloves, as the plywood does leave little scratches on you. As for assembly… it was decent for someone experienced like myself, but if you are new at from scratch assembly, find something else. There are only a few pre-drilled holes, so you have to be as precise as possible. For instance, the hangers don’t have a specific spot, so you can measure or eye it. The wood split in certain spots because it was so thin and didn’t have pre-drilled holes. It’s not noticeable, but not the best quality. The color of the wood is also a lot warmer than it appears. The shelf on the right is “adjustable” but once you screw in the back to it, you can’t adjust them without unscrewing the screws and reassembling. Weird design. Overall, it does the job and is cute! Just a pain in the butt to assemble and the wood is finicky.

I did not purchase this bench to use as a potting bench, I wanted a cute mud kitchen for my grandsons. It does not disappoint. It was sturdy, easy assembly, picture instructions, which took about an hour. We then disassembled the bottom shelves and cut about 12 inches off as my boys r 3 and 1 yrs. Then reassembled and screwed short shelf as backing to one side of the open back. Applied danish oil as a protectant. Looks fantastic in the yard and the boys love it. Could see it making a fantastic outdoor bar as well. Love the design. “Sink” arrived with a crack even though it was packaged well. I contacted seller thru Amazon, they replied promptly, asked for photo of damaged piece and r sending replacement. I applied sealing tape to damaged piece as a temp fix until new piece arrives.

The wood is really nice and was quite simple assemble.

Arrived in a big box Wasn't heavy and peices seemed so light Once put together it's very sturdy. I plan to stain mine and put a urethane coat on it. We are using it as a bar table in our gazebo.

Needs a water resistant finish.

J’aime vraiment beaucoup. Tel que prévu. Seul bémol, pas tous les trous sont pré-percés. Prévoir au moins 1h à 2 pour le monter. Mais bon. J’adore quand même.

Wasn’t impressed when putting it togther as almost all the peices were not lined up right with the parts and I had to redril holes. (Yes I checked I had the peices in the right spot). Some of the smaller peices that had another peice of wood attached were put on crooked so I had to take them off and put it on proper. Over all was a lot more work than what I was after was not impressed after reading all the glowing reviews. Was disappointed!
