I haven't had the chance to use this escape tool in a real-life scenario, but from my initial impression, they feel very sturdy and capable! I mean it: the window breaker feels like it can break through tough glass, and the seatbelt cutter is very sharp. It's also very neat that you get two. That means, if you ever want to bring one on your person (like in your purse or backpack) in case you get into a car accident while using a taxi, Uber, etc. and need to escape, you can! The other one you can leave in your car. All in all, having something like this brings me peace of mind. It's also not that expensive either, so this really becomes a no-brainer in my opinion. It's always best to be safe rather than sorry.

Many YouTube test demonstrations confirm the window breaking hammer on this particular product will do the job on automobile door glass. The best training seems to agree to tap or whack the glass near the bottom of the window above the door line which is the most stable place to focus the energy and break the window. Once there's a break the window can actually be lifted out away from the passenger or push from the inside to avoid as many shards as possible. Many people have nothing handy to cut their own seat belt if they are stuck and in that case this simple belt cutter can do the job with some back and forth motion to saw through the material. The blade is small but not entirely unaffected. Overall I give this four stars because it's pretty good if not the very best choice and the price is right, it's easy to grip and in an emergency simplicity has its virtue.

I was really pleased with these. To be honest, I expected them to be cheaply made. Pleasantly surprised that they’re actually pretty sturdy with a good weight. They don’t feel cheap and I’m confident I’ll do the job if I ever need them to. Which of course I hope I won’t.

This one is made very well and seems to be highly durable. I keep mine in my driver side door at all times, and it never slides around or makes noise. I was able to gift the second one to someone who didn’t have one, which was an added bonus given the low price! Please get this for yourself & give the other one to a loved one…this product saves lives!

La cabeza de la herramienta, donde se encuentra posicionado el rompevidrios, es más pesado que el mango lo que permite un mejor movimiento para romper el vidrio en caso de emergencias. * El cortador de cinturon es relativamente afilado, lo utilize para cortar cordón y papel para comprobar que tanto filo tiene y cumple con su función, no tengo duda de que sea capaz de cortar un cinturón. Sin embargo no recomiendo que se use para nada más que eso para no desgastar el filo y que se encuentre en las condiciones más optimas en caso de emergencia vehicular. * La herramienta viene protegida o resguardada en un pequeño estuche abierto que permite montarla y desmontarla con facilidad, algo ideoneo en caso de que se requiera usar rapidamente, y protege el rompevidrios y cortador para asegurar que no causen daños al carro si no esta en uso la herramienta. Lo que no viene podria ser una buena adiccion son adhesivos para montar la herramiento con todo y base al carro, ya que como no cuenta con estos tiene movilidad libre. * Es un producto muy economico y de muy buena calidad, la marca "amazonbasics" suele ser de alta calidad ya es el cuarto producto que compro de la marca y es una de las mejores marcas conforme a precio-calidad. * Finalmente en cuanto al envio, este fue muy rápido llego 4 días antes de lo estimado, y por ser vendido y destribuido por amazon esta garantizado que te llegue el producto.
