Great Product, Boring Review - Just Buy It.
Buy it. It is pretty difficult to write a super exciting review about a bread slicer; you put your bread in, decide how thick you want your slices and slice. I can give this honest, yet boring review. This thing works great, saves me a ton of time, and gives me nice, even slices every time. Cleanup is super easy, price is great. If you make homemade bread and don’t want wonky, uneven slices or a crumb mountain to clean after you finish slicing, then you need this handy tool in your kitchen. Highly recommend!

Easy to Use
I make all of our bread from scratch and this bread slicer is wonderful. I’m left handed but the rest of my family is right handed and it’s crazy how weird our slices can turn out with opposite hands slicing bread at opposite angles. This slicer solved that issue and is able to give me consistent numbers of slices for each loaf.

Works for sandwich bread - not artisan-style bread
It is adjustable for the slice thickness, not the bread size/width. It works for breads baked in a loaf pan, but if you bake artisan-style sourdough, your bread won't fit. I took one of the sides off and tried to cut it, but it's hard because the bread keeps moving (the sides and the back prevent that), and then there's bread crumbs everywhere because it's moving and the little tray on the bottom doesn't catch the mess. Again, it works for home made sandwich bread, or loaves baked in a loaf pan. It looks well-made and it's very easy to store as the parts come apart if your concern is space. You need a bread knife that is long enough, though.

Great Product
I used it for the second time this morning, on a freshly machine baked loaf of white bread, which the family prefers. Setup was quick and easy; the “owner’s manual” (a series of sketches) wasn’t needed. I like that it holds the entire loaf and allows slicing without moving it, unlike my previous slicing guide that can handle only one slice at a time, which must be removed before the next cut. I also like the relatively thin width of slices, again unlike my old one with adjustable width, but thin slices were hard to handle individually without damaging them. This guide makes thin slicing easy. Although I have a heavy bread knife and a light one, both in like new condition, I get cleaner cuts without tearing with my trusty old Black & Decker electric knife. This loaf was sliced cleanly and in the bag in under two minutes. One thing I try to remember to write in any review, if I had it to do over again knowing what I know now, would I still buy it? Absolutely!

Not Ideal for Sourdough Bread
I really wanted to like this bread slicer, but unfortunately it didn’t work well for my needs. I mostly bake sourdough bread, which has a thicker and harder crust, and this slicer struggles with that type of bread. I still need to use an electric knife to cut my sourdough, and I can’t use the knife safely with this slicer because the plastic gets damaged and the base moves while cutting. It may work better for softer breads, but for homemade sourdough, it wasn’t very practical for me. Decent idea, just not the right fit for my type of bread.

Kiss Core Bread Slicer
I really like this bread slicer. It is sturdy, the sides stay where you put them and, so far, every loaf I have used it with has been easy to slice. (I don’t make round loaves so they probably won’t fit the width). I also like the width of the slices. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble. I keep the parts in the box it came in. The crumbs fall to the bottom tray. Very quick process made easier.

Good product.
Slices are a little thick if you use their template. I move the bread to suit our preference. The slicer holds the bread great.

Good but not adjustable
I like it. It does make slicing fresh bread much easier and neater. I just took it for granted that it was adjustable. So I skip slots and on I go. Its easy to clean. It's easy to store. I kept the box so after use, I clean, break down and store in the box. I do recommend this product.

I changed this to a five star as the seller made everything good.just doesn't work good on a two lb loaf and that's what I make with my bread machine.but it is a good product.

I actually use this for cutting SPAM into 3 equal parts which i cook on an indoor grill. I calorie count & like the 3 parts to be as equal as possible. The best things about this product is its adjustability & durability

I bought the Kiss Core Bread Slicer Guide a while ago, hoping to make slicing my homemade bread easier, and it does work well with that in mind. There are quite a few inadequacies I can think of, actually. **Design and Build Quality** Lightweight gives the feeling of toughness, even though it is a pretty easy-to-operate set. Folding down to minimized storage would fit most people, hence easy storage in the drawer without taking up so much room. Many users have felt it a little on the flimsy side of things. In relation to the slicing part, the end piece won't fully attach to the rest of the slicer, which more often than not is a bit of a hassle as it begets a little playing of the component. **Functionality** I think the most peculiar part of this slicer is that cinched line of wide adjustment, great for use with different loaf sizes. All the taller ones, usually I have a bread maker, are way taller than the low guide sides on this slicer, still blocking it at about one-third down. So I take a guess around the upper edge and then scratch my way down without any guide. This defeats much of the purpose in having a guide at all, so I imagine it can be frustrating in time. **Crumb Tray** It came with a little crumb tray, another guardian resolution. Yes, it does catch quite a bit of the crumb, making cleanup really straightforward. However, since the slicer seems so flimsy, that tray moves just enough to dump all the crumbs off and onto your counter during use. **Verdict** It's a bread slicer that can handle the lighter, smaller loaves while defying some taller loaves from time to time. The thing is compact, maintenance is a breeze, and that adjustable width is great. On the downside; for the bread you bake taller or bigger, a little more height will provide some extra stability. So, having said that, the Kiss Core Bread Slicer Guide is a rather simple tool for nothing but small bakes. If you bake a lot of large-loaves, you might be better off with a sturdier, fuller-scale slicer.
