I bought this to scan 35mm film negatives. It’s built well, can support my camera and Macro lens and is adjustable. It clamps to my IKEA table and there’s no way it’s falling over. This is the third kind of stand I bought. One is $900 (returned) another was $160 (returned) and thus was around $39…a keeper. Will probably get another. Oh…it’s very portable. Plus it comes with a few adapters. You could easily use two of these as lighting stands on a table or something else as it can handle some weight.

This works way better than I expected. I am using a Sony a7 on it and when mounted to a table, it dips a little, but does hold with very little of the pole used as a counter weight. I am using the pole fully extended for a top down view. It's easy to get set up and can actually hold. Some weight.

This makes a nice copy stand for when you do not want to lug around a full size copy stand to a school, library, archive, etc. When using the boom extended I would recommend a smaller camera like a compact mirrorless like a Nikon Z30 or something of a similar size. The other end of the boom has a 3/8-16" threaded hole and you can screw in an eye-bolt to hang off a counterbalance. It comes with a small ball head but I would recommend a better one from Ulanzi or SmallRig. I used an Arca-Swiss type clamp to fit my L-Plate on my camera. One reviewer noted that the clamp would not turn, you just have to muscle it a bit back and forth to work it free. The clamp works good but do not tighten it down too hard as you will probably bend the bracket. The upper column was a little hard to stow because the telescoping columns are air tight so I just drilled out some small vent holes. This is a good value for the money for someone who occasionally needs something like this for copy work. If you are going to be shooting a lot of videos overhead, there's probably better (and expensive) options out there.

I bought this and a similar one from Small Rig as a I need a quick solution for mounting a camera at my workbench. This unit is by far the sturdiest of the two for my Canon M50. I added a Neewer fluid pan head for smoother adjustability. There is a small amount of droop from flex but its insignificant. It' quite adjustable.

Bought one originally to record videos. Worked perfectly so I bought another to have on location. Got a lot of compliments on this. Would recommend a stronger attachment for a dslr as mine is very heavy.

I been making YouTube videos of my live jams and tutorials. This gets the perfect angle for the viewer to see exactly what I’m doing. Very sturdy, very cost effective, quick and easy setup, not too big.

High quality, solid mount for the money. Using this mount for my husband’s pinball videos. It does exactly what I was needing it to which is stream the backglass and MDM screen without an odd angle. Perfect finely tuned adjustment and holds solid! Very pleased!

I like this brand I buy a lot of products from them. I’m hoping that this is clearly a mistake, but I’m really not sure how a product like this left the factory.
