Excellent product so far. Durability seems to be on par, I have it on carpet and an office chair no signs of abnormal wear after a few weeks of use.

It's hard to overstate how much I like this mat. Pretty much none of the other options out there work well for medium-high pile carpet, regardless of what they put in the product description. The roll up plastic/vinyl options your chair will sink in and make divets, the acrylic / hard plastic / glass ones eventually crack or shatter, and the real tempered glass ones are super expensive / insanely heavy and are a pain to reposition when they inevitably shift around. This thing is lightweight, no risk of shattering, chair glides smoothly, and it's cheap. My favorite thing about it is how easy it is to reposition when it shifts out of place over time (which WILL happen on carpet eventually). Other options have so much friction on the carpet that they're impossible to slide back into place if there's any weight on them (my desk sits on top of this so I can have it flush to the wall). With this one you just roll up the slats to the edge of the desk, then you can lift and shove back into place with ease. Brilliant.

This is a great chairmat. It's large enough that I don't fall off of the surface. It stays wherever I put it and I have yet to see a mark on it.

I have a low-pile carpet. I ordered a different hard plastic chair pad and my chair iimmediately sank it's wheels into spots and I could not roll around. This bamboo mat solves the problem. This mat is about 1/4" thick. I have the length of it going under my desk and it's up against the wall. There is a tendency after I roll forward and back a few times, for it to start pushing against the wall, rising up and folding up on itself. It's not really a problem. I just roll my chair off every few days and pull one end until it flattens out again. It's not a 100% perfect rolling surface as each of the small planks do angle down when your wheel is on them, however it's not enough to stop you from rolling. This bamboo is very strong.

I have plush carpet in my exercise room that is lovely on the feet but not-so-good for yoga. I planned to tear it out and put down a wood floor but the carpet is new and it seemed such a waste. I went on Pinterest trying to find a solution that would be a bit less dramatic and costly and happened upon a man who makes plank floors for the very purpose. Given the idea, I searched bamboo rug and wala! This mat is the perfect size and has a good surface for sticking to the mat. It gives enough support to not allow my wrists to over-bend and rolls up nice and neat for storage when I want to do a different type exercise. While it still allows a bit of flex and is not a perfect solution, it is exactly what I needed to get me by. Give it a try! Good quality, perfect size, and attractive.
