I have been having an issue with a lot of my shirts in the closet smelling very stale. My closet is off of my master bathroom and I think a lot of the moisture from the shower works its way into the closet. The other day I put on one of the shirts and couldn't handle the smell of it so I took it off. I had just received these odor absorbers in the mail the same day. I followed the directions and put them outside in the sun for two hours to activate them. I was running late for an event so I just threw them into my closet and they landed on top of the smelly shirt. An hour later I returned and the smell in the shirt had been completely eliminated. I have not placed them all over the closet. The directions say to put them outside once a month in the sun for two hours to restore their freshness. Super easy to use and extremely effective. Also, they are very light weight, not too bulky and were decently priced. I will probably be purchasing more.

So far so good. I’ve been getting some musty smells in my drawers. These were recommended to help keep it away. They are a nice neutral look and appearance so they don’t stand out if hanging in closets. They can be placed in drawers or you can use the included hook to easily hang in a closet. The size is appropriate for either application. The casing is thick and high quality. They are easy to hang/use. I can’t yet speak to the freshness or how well they work but I’ve used charcoal products in the past for similar reasons and they accomplish what’s intended. So I am hopeful these will help my drawers maintain their freshness and remain free of musty smells. Will update after some time of use once I know how well they work.

I like these. I used them for some stinky shoes. They took away a lot of odor within a couple of days, but then hit a wall. I then sprayed the shoes with isopropyl alcohol with great results. These are now keeping any further odor away.

These are AMAZING! I don't know how they work so well, so quickly, but I put a set in my nastiest smelling shoes (I'm sure everyone has a pair you wear every day during the sweaty summer and they get funky 🙃) and within HOURS there was zero odor! I have used them in sneakers, dress shoes, and slippers, and they're great no matter what the shoe type or smell level. I can't say enough good about these odor absorbers!

This is an absolutely fabulous product . I had bought some stamped personalized plastic cups to give to our various kids for Christmas . When they came, saying that the odor was horrendous is actually an understatement . It was terrible and I didn't think that I would be able to give these cups as gifts . But, I used these charcoal sleeves along with baking soda and unused coffee grounds and I cannot believe that the smell was completely gone! I will absolutely buy this product again and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to get rid of a bad odor.

We keep them in my sons basketball shoes they don’t smell like death and seem to help dry them out faster

I have a brand new cloth couch that someone spilled some unknown substance that smelled like rotted milk! I was so upset. We scrubbed and scrubbed...used soap, air freshners, fabric fresheners, and household cleaners and nothing worked. I found these in my search for a solution. THEY WORKED! No more smell. No more odor poofing out when we sit down!!! I simply stuck one in between my couch cushions and it worked within a day. I have had it there for weeks and weeks and it is still keeping things fresh! It also comes with a place to hang it so that makes it super handy and versitle.

4 stars because it works best when together with the spray. By itself, it's not as effective.
