After a couple of flushes the lever keeps run up the side of the horizontal contact face and jams...help?** A: Make sure the cable is in the best relaxed position to freely allow the bottom lever to return to its lower position after pressing the button push. I found 90 degrees to the central housing worked for me. The same applies if the button push is also sticking. It may help to clean around the central housing with a toothbrush to get rid of any limescale/dirt **Q: Hi, in the description it says the cable only. Does it include the plastic and which holds the push button as well?** A: It was a while ago since I replaced this - I remember it was very fiddly to fit - you have to get the angle just right. But all the bits were there - and providing you don't throw anything away when you disassemble the cable you should have all the bits to fit the new one. Mine worked fine. **Q: How easy is it to change the cable? I can’t even seem to take the old one of the main unit?** A: It is fairly easy. You do have to use a bit of force to carefully pull them off the fittings. Slightly twist them from side to side and make sure you pull them off/ put them on straight so not to damage.
