Everything I Thought It Was

Amazing album! I'm very happy with the purchase. It arrived fast, in great shape, and the packaging was top-notch.

Buy it! It’s worth every bit of it. The album is crafted and perfect, the packaging is beautiful so modern yet rich with originality! Albums are now a form of art it’s beautiful to have the record reflect the same.

Though “The 20/20 Experience Part I” is my all-time favorite record of his, “Everything I Thought It Was” is poised to take the number two position and quite quickly! I wasn’t sure what to expect overall as he was a bit tight-lipped about the concept until recently but as a long-time fan, I am deeply happy with the concept, the art work, the record’s personality and of course, the music itself! He shared in an interview a month ago that he is in a supremely happy place in his life and it certainly shines through in every aspect. Sure, the album spans 18 tracks in its standard form but much like the classic “Justified”, it’s a breezy and mellow but fun listen, perfect for a party, the gym or a summer road trip! Bravo, Justin. It’s nice to have a sunny and satisfied pop-star on the charts, again. 😉

I love ANYTHING NSYNC and Paradise is superb! Since Justin is part of NSYNC, i love him too. No Angels is one of my favorite songs, but there are so many good ones on this album. Everything is digital nowadays which is a shame because it took me a while to find a way to play the disk. Can’t even play it in my car since they don’t put disk players in cars anymore unless you get it custom installed. If i had to do it again, I would buy the digital so I could listen to it anywhere, but it is nice to have the actual old school product that i can see, hold in my hand, and read.

I heard one of the songs from the album on SNL, and was very impressed by the performance. My wife likes Timberlake well enough, and it seemed like it would be an interesting departure from his old sound. It's a good pop album, and still has a lot of the old Timberlake sound, but a few of the tracks are refreshingly interesting and novel.

Spectacular pressing. Slight noise on the first part of Side A but overall amazing sound stage, fantastic smokey color for the variant. The inner sleeves are great but are failing after about a year and splitting.

I had high hopes for this record and it did not disappoint. The Prince of Pop JT did it again. This is definitely like other reviewers said, a no skip album. Every song just fell perfectly into place on this record. If you're looking for real music, then buy this album. I love how every song on here reminds me of a song of his that I know and love, without feeling like repetition. I love the design on the Amazon Exclusive Vinyl, really pretty. I would give this album 100/10 if I could, such a masterpiece.

Great to see JT back, this album has, dance,pop,a bit of going back to church rock,love and NSYNC.Love this guy and this album.

Très bien produit, cet album est excellent a tel point que j'ai acheté le vinyle. Il mérite d'avoir plus de succès. Il alterne entre les slows langoureux et des morceaux plus rythmés, le tout est d'un grand raffinement musical. Je le recommande vivement. Je ne me laisse pas de l'écouter. Aucun morceau n'est a jeter.

J'avais décroché après Futur sex love/ sounds , son album référence, ne trouvant pas vraiment "20/20 expérience" ni "man of the woods" à la hauteur. Et puis je prends un avion le mois dernier et découvre dans le catalogue des divertissements à bord, qu'il a sorti un nouvel album 18 ans après FS/LS et 6 ans après "man of the woods". Je lance la lecture et là , quel son!! Le son me fou une claque d'entrée de jeu, et puis je vois qu'il y a 18 titres, alors je me dis que ça a Intérêt à être à la hauteur... Et franchement ça l'est et bien au delà de ce à quoi j'aurais pu m'attendre. L'album est très varié, c'est easy listening mais ça reste vraiment intéressant. Les pistes sont soignées, les arrangements sont comme à son habitude, proche de la perfection . Le tout est très accrocheur avec de gros morceaux super bien produits. J'ai atterri et commandé direct l'album sur Amazon. Ça faisait bien longtemps que j'avais pas eu entre les mains un aussi bon album dans ce registre musical. Serait-ce la suite de FS/LS ... Comme l'évoquent certains ? Peut-être pas car c'etait quand même un sacré album singulier, musicalement et très avant-gardiste avec de vraies prises de risque , mais en tout cas ce nouvel album est un sacré opus généreux, où rien n'est à jeter ... Un très bel album, homogène, généreux, qu'on ne lâche pas aussi addictif que celui sorti il y a 18 ans ... Justin T nous offre un bien beau cadeau à 44 ans .
