Great wool for needle felting

I am new to needle felting so a beginner. This wool is ideal for beginners like me and you get a large ball for your money. It is very soft and although not as easy to felt as carded wool it is easier than other wool top merino I have used. The wool is good quality and didn’t contain any straw or dried grass which makes life easier. This ball should do all my Easter projects as it is an ideal colour for chicks.

I bought this when I ran out of black for needle felting an emperor penguin from a kit. I have to say this is great wool for needle felting, just the right density. It is a little heavier than the wool from the kit which I find is just a little too fluffy. This has a nice crimp to it and felts very nicely. And it is a true black colour. I will be buying some more of this brand.
