Rook 65L Men's Backpacking Backpack, Gray OS

Excellent pack! Used it alternately for a 5 day trip as my luggage. Loved it!

Absolutely love this backpack. By far the most comfortable and light bag I've picked up.

This bag was great quality holds a lot and the straps are really comfortable it’s light weight and the back support makes it easy to hike with heavy weight

I loved this pack, but gave it to my son when I upgraded. The pro is its ability to carry heavy weight. I’ve had over 50 lbs in it, and it distributes the weight very well. Also love the charcoal look. The con is the “Osprey Squeak”. It started squeaking almost immediately after I started using it and no matter how I packed it, or the weight I put in it, it made noise with every step. Apparently this is a common problem with this pack. My son loves it and the noise doesn’t bother him. Other than that, it’s a wonderful pack for the money.

A lot of money. Was it worth it? Yes. Yes it is. The difference from my 100.00 pack and this one. There are no words. Better is every way. The larger pack also makes a huge difference. Way more comfortable.

Get one of these packs.After doing 9 years in search and rescue,I e gone threw about 4 packs…several being very high end military style packs….they were all good packs but never supported my load out with the amount of comfort this pack gives me.At 6 ft and 300 lbs I bought the extended size for me,and it rocks!Also bought one for my son,who is 6’1’’ and very skinny and it fits him very well,normal sized version of the pack of course.Cant say enough on the comfort of this pack.For the price this pack is perfect.

Didn’t realize that this was the Extended Fit model for waists up to 71”!!! As I have a 32” waist, it did not fit clearly but was exactly what I expected from an Osprey pack. Returned and purchased the regular size. If you are on the larger size, this pack has been tailor made for you and you will not regret the purchase!

Love it. I'm 5'11" 220lbs. It's perfect. The rain protector is flashy green. The only really bad aspect. But I can live with it.

Woman’s Bag Renn cost more at 227.00 than the Men’s bag Rook 205. Both bags for bigger sized people. Both bags are practically identical, but the women’s Renn has less space in the main compartment than the men’s Rook—Even though both say 65L. The difference is quite visible when you set both bags beside each other, the men’s is bigger wider and taller than the woman’s, and yet the woman’s bag cost more and they both are ‘suppose to be 65L”. I am 5’6 tall and 211lbs—The woman’s Renn bag is superb in comfort and is especially great for my back as I have mild scoliosis, arthritis and fibromyalgia. The make/structure of the bag Renn for Women (Frame and straps), took pressure off my shoulders and sat more snuggly on my hips. These are great hiking bags even though it was quite pricy and the difference in size and cost. The material is durable strong and will last. Great zippers. Nice whistle clip. My son is 6’5 at 220lbs and the bag for men Rook is also exceptionally comfortable and because it’s bigger and longer it fits his back/torso very well.
