I'm not fond of ooey-gooey blindingly shiny gloss. The "muddy" aspect of this was concerning. However, like another reviewer stated, it does feel smooth on the lips. Hard to imagine, but true. Not cakey or thick. It would call it LONG-lasting, but it doesn't come off as easily as many others making a similar claim. It didn't settle into lip lines or bleed. Just silky and soft.
