UB400 Deluxe Magnetic Resistance Upright Exercise Bike with Pulse Monitor

Big waste of money. I used it for a month and the main bearing broke.

This is a great little exercise bike. I just purchased it and had it assembled yesterday. I didn't buy it from Amazon because I found it cheaper at a local sporting goods store near my home. As an overweight 55-year old woman, I needed something to help me lose weight and give me a cardio workout. Walking even a couple of miles a day isn't an option for me due to lower back problems/pain so I decided to invest in a stationary bike. This little bike is sturdy and the ride is smooth and quiet. I'm only 5' tall so it was a challenge to find a bike on which I could reach the pedals and pedal comfortably. With the seat in the lowest position, I can pedal just fine. The seat could be a little more comfortable. Thus the reason I'm giving it only 4 stars. No bike I tried out had as comfortable a seat as I would have liked but this one is acceptable. I also needed the bike to be small enough to fit into a corner in my den. Most of the bikes I looked at were huge. This bike fits perfectly into the corner and doesn't take up much space. A friend put it together for me and he said the assembly was pretty easy. It took him about 45 minutes. If you're looking for a stationary bike, give the Health Gear UB400 a try. You won't be disappointed.
