KitchenAid Blade Coffee Grinder and Spice Grinder Combo Pack, Onyx Black

So far really enjoying this product! Bought a less expensive coffee grinder at first but ended up returning it because it didn't have the same aesthetic and capability as this one. Durability/Quality It's VERY durable, classic Kitchen Aid quality. Features/Capability I LOVE the fact that it is so versatile and can both grind my coffee and then also turn into an herb grinder. Since I've been growing my own cilantro, basil, parley and oregano this feature has been awesome!! Accessories LOVE that it comes with a separate smaller cannister and lid for the herb grinder feature Usability SUPER easy to use and clean. The cannister twists in and out super easy without any problem Price Little more expensive that I preferred to spend originally, but as I stated before I did return the cheaper option that I first tried and SO glad I went with this one!! This will probably be the one and only grinder I'll ever have needed to buy!

I bought this grinder for grinding coffee beans to make cold brew coffee after the cheap Proctor Silex one I had burned up. I knew I wanted one that you could take apart and clean the blade and under it because my old one had gotten where I would have to get a pair of pliers out and loosen the blade up to get it to turn after I would let it sit for a while unused. Right out of the box I ground up a pound of coffee beans , coarse ground in less than 5 minutes. I did put a layer of thin saran wrap over the top of the metal jar with the beans before putting the clear plastic lid on to engage the grinder since other reviewers had complained that some of the debris had leaked out. This solved any mess from escaping and the grinder worked just fine. It was simple to use, simple to clean and the best part is mine came with not one, but 2 spice grinders in the box. Now I can get all those spices in my cabinet that seem to want to harden due to the humidity in my house ground up again without leaving any lingering taste to my coffee grinder! So far I'm loving this thing.

The KitchenAid Blade Coffee Grinder and Spice Grinder works great! It’s super easy to use and grinds coffee beans evenly for a fresh brew every time. I also use it for spices, and it handles them perfectly. The build quality feels very solid and durable — you can tell it’s made to last. It might be a little overpriced compared to some other grinders, but you definitely pay for quality. Very happy with this versatile and reliable appliance!

I've been using this grinder regularly since I purchased it in 2021 (it's 2026), and it does an excellent job. I like that it came with different grinding cannisters. I would definitely recommend it. I debated between 3-4 stars - and 5 for one simple reason. The plastic cap on the cannisters does not fit tight - it just basically sits there. Sometimes, even when you think you can the cannister locked it, it's not and what you're grinding blow out into the cap and sometimes the counter. This is very annoying. So, buy this if you want a strong motor, just be careful about the locking mechanism. If KitchenAid even comes with a cap that fits tightly - I would absolutely buy replacement caps.

Bought this years ago and barely have used it because of how absolutely horrible this thing is. Just used it for the first time in probably 2 years to simply grind spices (as it should do). The plastic lids don’t stay on so spices go everywhere, the bigger blender doesn’t even actually fit so it’s unusable. Single handedly the worst kitchen equipment I have and will be throwing away ASAP. Waste of $50, DO NOT BUY!!

I had many grinders over the years that didn't perform well until this KitchenAid caught my eyes online! I ordered the combo right away. Out of the box, the grinder is made with high quality shiny sliver polycarbonate/stainless materials. The combo pack comes with (1) Burr grinder, (1) Coffee grind bowl, (2) Spice grind bowl, (1) Shaker lid, (2) Airtight storage lid. It is easy to use and clean, quit, and grind coffee beans and other dry spices effortlessly. Highly recommend!!

This grinder does the job, but I expected better from KitchenAid. I specifically chose this grinder because I thought KitchenAid would deliver a superior product compared to the no-name brands on Amazon. Unfortunately, I think they missed the mark with this one. The first issue is that the inner lids for the grinding containers are way too loose. When grinding spices, the lid almost slips right off, and because of that, a lot of its contents fly out too. I haven't tried grinding coffee with it, but the lid seems equally loose on the larger coffee grinding container. The on benefit for coffee is that the container is taller and so there's almost no room for the inner lid to fly off, and the grinds will likely be heavier than spices, so maybe they won't fly out either. The second issue is that the grinding containers are surprisingly unfinished, resulting in incredibly sharp rims. They're made of stainless steel, and the edge is sharp enough that I cut myself on one, though not very deep. All the stainless steel is rough and unfinished. Overall, the grinder works, but it seems like there are obvious quality control issues with this product. If the price is better than alternatives, maybe give it a try; but you're not getting anything extra with the KitchenAid brand here, and maybe even getting a little less.

This is a great grinder ! My wife and I have used many different types over the years but none compare to the results that this kitchen aid produces. The only caveat is that you must be careful about placing the lids on the grinder cups (tightly) to ensure that a mess is not made when grinding. I see that some have complained about "dust" and other complain about not doing an adequate grind but frankly, I suspect that they are either over doing the grinding or not taking enough time to do an adequate job. We cook a lot of Indian food that requires ground spices, and this grinder fits the bill. When I first opened the package, I was a bit distressed to find that the blades were dull, unlike our earlier grinders. But, when we started to use the device, we quickly learned that the blades did a really great job of breaking down the spices for cooking. We especially enjoy having both large and small cups for grinding as we typically host both small and large dining groups. The only downside, as I said earlier, is to be sure the tops are on tightly when you grind. The upsides are many - especially the great grinding job that the device provides.

Device does not come with a UK plug and power, instead some odd wall transformer and plug was included so whenever I want to use it I have to plug int multiple items that can all fail. The adaptor and transformer do not seem robust. This makes the device cumbersome to use. The fact that it does not come with a normal plug and power usage was not disclosed.
