Bonds well, while being able to skip traditional primer.
I found this Prmer & Glue combo to work just fine. When I work with PVC pipes and fittings, I usually end up skipping a step. That would be using primer. I always like to use a good cleaner, and then I typically go straight to the glue. I know that is not the proper way to do it, however, I have a lot of fittings holding that way. I know that using a primer is always better, but then there are the drawbacks of having to buy another product, and then the glue gets mixed in with the primer after a while with repeated use. I ran across this two in one combination, and figured that I may as well try it. I have used it on a few connections, after using cleaner, and so far nothing has come lose. It has been about 1 month, since using it, so I can’t comment on the long term durability. However, from past experience, I have found that If it sticks well for a day, it tends to stick for a very long time. I used it on both PVC water pipes and fittings, with a maximum pressure of 80 PSI. I also used it on electrical PVC conduit. I connected flexible PVC conduit to rigid PVC conduit. I some of it is buried, and some of the connections are above ground. I can only observe what is happening above ground, and so far, it’s all holding well. I have not done a side by side comparison of the traditional vs. this 2 in 1 product, however, I’m very happy with the results of this product. I will continue to use this, unless something goes wrong. If I am getting a better bond, than skipping the traditional primer, then that is just an extra bonus. I certainly do recommend this product, for at least the conditions I’m using it for. It’s been good to me.

Good for new fittings, but old pipe is best with primer
I just finished up redoing some drain lines in my kitchen and picked up a bottle of this halfway through. I like that it is clear. It works well in new pipe and fittings. It does take a little longer to setup than 2 step, but I really like how neat it is. I would recomend using primer on old pipe. I had a heck of a time making a connection between the existing vent stack and a new fitting. After some struggle, I purple primed and then used this fusion to glue. It worked great.

I love this stuff!
Great price compared to the box stores nearby. I've used it to cap old drain lines & connect extension hoses. Dries QUICK, theres no making mistakes.

Fantastic product for plumbers and DIYers!
You GOTTA use this product! A combination of primer and cement in one product, and the 10 oz can of this on Amazon costs less than the (2) 4 oz cans of separate primer and cement at a box store. I paid $11 here, and the blue and grey box store wants $16. Your fingers don't get all purple when the primer drips down like water. Sets up just like regular cement in just a few seconds, but give it a few minutes or longer to fully cure.

2 inch PVC pipe exhaust glue/primer
HOME DEPOT stopped selling this product. I use this product for exhausted intake pipes for furnaces.
