I bought this for camping and honestly, I was surprised by the quality. The 1065 carbon steel feels very durable, and it came pretty sharp right out of the box. The beech wood handle has a great grip and gives it a very premium, handcrafted look. What I liked most is that even though it’s compact (14.4”), it still has a good weight and balance for cutting small wood and handling outdoor tasks. The sheath is also very useful for safe storage and transport. For the price, I feel like this is a great option for camping, survival, or simply having a reliable axe at home.

Great little hatchet for camping and outdoor use. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the size is perfect for keeping in the car or taking on trips. Very sharp hatchet! The handle is comfortable and wood easily. Perfect size for camping and outdoor and cut the tree in my yard as well. Recommend this for trees, bushes with this price.

Axe Head is on crooked, removed plastic peace to inspect edge had wood chips on blade (it has been returned before), edge was completely rounded over, the wood coming out of the eye was not only not cut flush with the head (sticking out well over a 1/4 inch) it was also cut at an angle, finish on axe head missing in places and it was starting to rust. DO NOT BUY!!!

Great axe for camping plus it looks really cool! Sharp enough for splitting firewood at the camp, perfect size and balance.

The hatchet itself is great. It's heavy enough to do some real damage and will take a good edge. It has an aggressive look to it that I like. Includes a sharpening stone and a belt loop as well as a sheath. It has a good handle with at least a couple of good grip points. I was disappointed though, that the button to secure the sheath was broken. One side had pulled through the leather. Not a deal breaker for me, just a hassle to deal with.

The hatchet is a good length and weight for a beginner especially. I like the handle and the overall look and feel of the hatchet, but I am deeply concerned about the bevel and edge. It was reasonably sharp upon arrival, but when I looked down the length of the edge it is twisted. The edge isn’t straight at all! I have taken it to a family blade sharpening business near me figuring if it can be salvaged they are the ones to do it. Maybe I just should have sent it back, but I like the hatchet and really want it. We’ll see I guess. It also comes with a sharpening puck which I found completely useless. It seems to be the same grade on both sides, but it doesn’t actually say anywhere what that is. Is it course? Fine? I assume somewhere in the middle, but I’m not interested in guessing. Anyway, I’ll try to post an update when I get it back from the sharpener.

I was thrilled when I received this hatchet. It matches the online description perfectly. I tested it and it's incredibly sharp. It also comes with a beautiful sheath and a whetstone. A very practical hatchet.

Sharp right out of the box, perfectly balanced, and way tougher than it looks. This little hatchet chews through kindling like it’s angry at trees. Solid beech handle, real leather sheath, and zero “cheap tool” vibes. At this price, it feels illegal (but in a good way). 🪓😄

I got this axe because my family started growing flowers and vegetables in the backyard. It works very well for cutting small branches and preparing the garden area. The axe feels sturdy, sharp and easy to handle. The handle feels comfortable and gives a good grip. Very practical tool for home gardening and outdoor work.
