Not leak resistant
Bought for my daughter to take drinks to college. She closed it but luckily had the presence of mind to test the top. Leaked all over the kitchen. Thankfully she didn’t just put it in her bag with her expensive camera and college stuff. Disappointed is an understatement, the description states: “ADVANCED LID Stanley has developed an advanced FlowState lid, featuring a rotating cover with three positions: a straw opening designed to resist splashes with a seal that holds the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full-cover top for added leak resistance.” Not sure if this one is faulty. Will need to test my other Daughters cup as a comparison.

Great travel mug
This mug is nice to travel with whether using during car trips or flying. It keeps my beverages cold, lasting up to 10 hours. The mug fit nicely into my backpack/travel tote when flying and fits snugly into the car's cup holder.
