I am very pleased with this wool pillow, so pleased 1 bought 3 more. The cotton cover is a good quality although there is no zip in this version of the pillow. It is quite full so I only need to use 1, but is very comfy. Bought one for my mother who is very pleased and said it really helped her sleep better. Main reason for buying is because of slight allergy to feathers in family. I didn't think I had an allergy to feathers, but since using have noticed I don't wake up in morning with slightly puffy eyes anymore! They smell vaguely of wool for first night or 2, like a wool jumper, quite pleasant really. I even bought some wool inner cushion pads made by same company which I am pleased with too. Nice and plump and again gets rid of the feathers and mites. I have used synthetic pillows and cushion inserts before, but then tend to go solid and distorted, especially when washed. I also have had wool duvets for a couple of years and would not go back to synthetic or feathers.

I've never used a wool pillow before. I am quite happy with this. They are a bit expensive but I spent bthe money because I get hot at night. The description said they helped with sweating and being hot. I was sceptical but I do find I don't wake up with a hot pillow. These are better than anything else I've slept on for night sweats/hot flushes. The pillow is more along the lines of medium firmness. We were using memory foam neck pillows. The wool pillows were easy to transition to using and I am cooler sleeping now.

Personally, I love this pillow, it's comfy and firm, just right for me. It's a good size so I can use it on its own or with a flatter pillow underneath depending on what I need. I don't think it smells strongly of sheep as other reviews say, it smells of wool, sure but I mean it will do. I've found it to be perfect for my needs and I'm now considering getting the quilt, and another pillow. For me it feels nice to have something natural that maybe people would have used in the past, I like to think so anyway. Best advice, try it for a few nights before making a decision. I use a 100% cotton pillow case with it, as I think that's what the wool room reccomends to use with their products, to help with breathability of material, and temperature regulation. Sorry to give a negative response, but I have bought a couple of these types of pillows because don't like buying synthetic products. Unfortunately the pillows don't stay plump for long. Had mine about a month now and it has gone flat. Tried everything to replump it but to no avail. Don't let it put you off buying one as the pillows are great, but one thing is they need more stuffing or at least a zip sewn in so that one can refill them when the necessity requires. That's my only issue. Other than that it is a good pillow and environmentally friendly

I used it to replace old pillow which was no longer supportive. I liked the use of wool as filler. There is no odour and no adverse effects. A prospective buyer should read other product reviews before deciding. I think is this the one they will choose. There are not many reviews of it because the item is relatively expensive. However, the cost will be offset by how long it does its job. A cheapo is a false economy. It may be pure coincidence that since I started using it, I have had no more nightmares, the bane of my slumber hitherto.

These pillows are so comfortable. They fit to your sleep position and fluff up again the next morning. They are expensive and I am a little disappointed that one of them still smells quite strongly of wool, even after a few weeks airing and 2 weeks use. When you get hot at night it makes the smell worse. However, my husband's one aired and the smell dissipated after a few days. Cannot fault the sleep quality they give me though. Maybe I will get an anti- allergy cover for it to see if it stops the smell....

When I first received the pillow I was really impressed - appeared to be great quality and for the first week I was completely in love with it. I had the best sleep ( suffer with neck and spinal problems ) and less pain in general. Then after a week I noticed the pillow was becoming less firm - fast forward to 35 days after purchase and am so disappointed- has lost all firmness has parts that have no filling at all - have tried to move the filling around but I basically have ti fold in half. Of course I have missed the 30 day returns so no refund but please if you are considering this option even on sale ( as I did ) it is worth paying for something that will last and this does not

I liked the comfort and sleep quality I got with this pillow. It could be value for money but we will have to see how comfy it stays over time. Initially the pillow smelt a bit musty, hopefully that will go. A bit pricey but could be a good buy in the long term.
