My grandson is an avid reader and he read this and enjoyed continuing the series. His younger sister usually reads whatever he has read and she liked the series also.

This book is just as good as the rest of the series I loved it every single second of reading it. It truly is amazing. And I just want to say that I usually hate reading SI-FI books but this one is just truly amazing.

Arm chair visit to Egypt
I love the City Spies series. City of the Dead is a fabulous addition. The kids are well developed as characters. They are inventive and fun to read about. This book takes the team to Egypt. I love the descriptions. I was in Egypt earlier this year (2023). This book makes me want to go back for a fuller experience. I think adults can appreciate this story as well or more than kids.

Ponti Strikes Again!
James Ponti never disappoints! City of the Dead continues to deliver the thrills, historical anecdotes and adventures of the awesome characters we’ve come to know and love in the City Spies series. But the best part is the continuation of the through line regarding Mother and his family- both found and otherwise. For mystery lovers of all ages!

WE can't wait for the next book
It's such a sweet story. They are teenage spies and every book focuses on another one of the kids. They have made a family out of lost very talented kids. My kids love all these books.
