Leg Avenue Mens Licensed Top Gun Flight Suit Costume

I've used this costume for the past two Halloweens. Looks great and it's held up quite well. It's also a really comfortable costume to wear to work for our annual costume day. Nice that you can be Goose or Maverick.That being said, it's a little bit short in the groin area. I'm 5'9" 190 lbs, and it fits well, but I have to crouch a little when putting it on. Anyone taller than 5'10" might have more trouble.Also, it's kinda difficult to use the restroom while wearing it. You have to unzip the whole costume, but it's not a deal-breaker. Woulda been nice to have a "conveniently-located" zipper though :)

I'm 6'1, 207 lbs, muscular, and the M/L fits like a charm, perhaps ever so slightly a little snug with clothes underneath (jeans etc), but not an issue really. My build is always a problem clothes-wise anyway.I must say I'm impressed with the quality, I didn't expect it to be so "solid" and to be quite honest, "real". The suit looks great, came with two patches (Goose and Maverick - would've preferred IceMan but it's still more than I expected!) and sunglasses that even say "Top Gun" on them. At first I was a little skeptical as it came in a typical "hanging on a rack" pouch, but once out all doubts vaporized.Had no issues with bent sunglasses or loose threads or patches, but I can see how the packaging of the sunglasses might cause issues. Lose patches would be easy to fix.All in all, it's really great. Spike your hair up, throw on some dog-tags and black boots and you're ready to fly away!

After reading many of the reviews on this costume I decided to go with the medium/large size. As with many others when putting this on, it does fit a bit tight in the crotch, but this can be fixed a bit once fully on by pulling down on the suit a bit. I'm 5' 11" 205lbs and with a 44" chest, 32" inseam and 36" waist. To me, it fit pretty darn perfect, though you may need a hand in getting out of it, as it is a bit snug and form fitting! I can tell you that the women at our Halloween party really loved the effect. You can't pull this costume off with a beer gut, so spare yourself and go another route. Costume is fairly well made as others have also noted. I took off a star as others have pointed out that this were NO aviator sun glasses included with costume. Apparently this costume once included a pair, but alas no longer! Online wording saying 2 Piece needs to be changed, as it's only one piece, just the suit itself is in the package. Included are two velcro attached separate name patches. One for Maverick and the other for Goose. Honestly, I don't know who the heck would want to be the guy who ends up dead from a broken neck. The other name tag should be for Iceman. I ended up making my own Iceman name tag from the Goose one which I would never have used anyway. I blacked out the red lettering and then stick-on letters I bought at a hobby shop. It came out great. All other patches are well sewn on. Not certain what costume others are talking about saying they weren't properly attached as mine couldn't have been put on any better. Price on Amazon is much better than you'd pay at Party City as well.

as a point of reference, i served in the navy and wore a flight suit every days for several years, so i know how these things are supposed to be made. that said, i'm really impressed with the quality of this costume. the material is a good, medium weight poly with excellent stitching. i have washed the costume and it held together fine...none of the seams came apart. all of the zippers are of good heavy quality and they actually work. lots of pockets for carrying stuff around if needed. all the patches look great and really make this flight suit stand out from others -- there were 3 mavericks (including me) at the halloween party i attended this year but none of their flightsuits looked as authentic as mine.on the sizing: i'm 6'1" and 205 lbs...the XL was slightly large, especially in length -- if your inseam is less than 34" then you should probably go with a large or be prepared to roll up the legs...which really won't work since the legs have the zippers at the bottom to widen the legs to allow you to pull the suit on over shoes/boots.

I was so surprised by this costume. It was material that washed well and really held up. I ironed on some additional patches (you can see in the picture the iron on patches are below the Velcro on the left as you look at the picture) and that went well. They do run on the bigger side. The sleeves are a little long and the Velcro to tighten the bottom of the sleeve is not tight enough. I’m a little extra and brought it to a seamstress to get extra Velcro put on to hold them in place. She was also able to alter the length as they’re very long in length. They are very side in the legs just FYI. They have lots of useable pockets which was nice! I was able to carry my cell phone and some other stuff in them.All in all super happy with our purchase!

I just received this in the mail and it fits really well. It's a little short in the arms, but it's not going to be a big deal.The biggest problem is the sunglasses and name badges did not come with the suit as the description said it would. I knocked a star off the rating for that.Also, on the picture it clearly has a patch on the right shoulder that reads "Top Gun" and is red, white and blue. The suit I received didn't have that. I ended up ordering a separate patch to replace that. I knocked another star off the rating for that as well.Otherwise, it is a well constructed suit and it fits really well (minus being a little short in the arms). I have the medium/large and I am 6' tall and weight ~175 lbs. (in case anyone needs a little guide to go by).

I’m 6’1 about 210 and this costume fit me perfectly. Also the quality was very good and can be reusable for another time.

Quality was top notch but the XL was too big for someone who's 6'2" 215 lbs. Would have been nice if I could order M/L but it won't arrive before Halloween so I would have to return it.

Absolutely brilliant flight suit. I'm 6ft 3 and went for XL and it fits perfectly. Very good quality as youd expect for the price. I had to buy the helmet separately but was worth the extra money.

For the cost of this suit it should not be missing Velcro strip for fighting for comfort, very disappointed with this as the cost is very high should be high quality

I use it for work and it's was marvelous
