My M5 is from the crowd fund. This unit is an upgrade from the original making it easier to remove the covers. This does not include the al metal hot end but you don’t need that unless you are running ABS.

Super easy to remove old and install a new one when the old one has run its course. Very happy with these machines and ease of use.

I was hoping this would fix my extruded problems i was having, sadly no. i had such high hopes. I bought a higher end printer hopefully it will last more than 20 prints.i give four stars because idk if its user error or not. so disappointing.

Perfect replacement for my broken extruder.

I'm one of the Kickstarter backers, and I had the original extruder on mine. The extruder started having issues, so I ordered this one so that I could run while cleaning out the original. Putting this one back in was easier than removing the original, thanks to the changes.

Bought an m5 second hand the but hand all kinds of problems on the extruder. Decided to replace the whole thing and it now works perfectly. Pretty easy to install as well.
