GM Genuine Parts 12677836 Multi-Purpose Pressure Sensor

Oil pressure gauge reads perfect in 2005 Escalade 6.0 LQ9. A little difficult to reach but not to bad to install.

Worked great and replaced the burned out original. Better price than the parts store

This code helped me get rid of the P0521 code.

No telling whether this is a real sensor or not . The packaging appears to be real . This sensor lasted less than 25 miles , showed low oil pressure . 20 psi , then down to zero . This is a fresh build 6.0 that has 70 psi on start up . I about had a heart attack. Swapped in a sensor from a junk yard engine and reading came back normal . This is a JUNK sensor .

This is my second one of these in less than a year, but they are definitely better quality than some of the cheaper options. My first one failed by pegging the gauge. I tried 3 cheaper options, 1 before the oem and 2 after this failure. All 3 off the cheaper versions kept triggering low oil pressure check engine lights. With this latest oem sending unit, just like the first, no CE lights and accurate gauge readings. Fingers crossed that it holds up.

Great fit in my ls3 and plugs in perfect in my holley terminator x harness.
