I used this hinge arm kit to replace the worn-out parts on my Werner attic ladder (MK3 model), and it worked perfectly. The parts fit just like the originals with no modifications needed. The hinges feel solid, the springs are strong, and the ladder now opens and closes smoothly again. Installation was simple and took less than 30 minutes. Everything lined up exactly as expected, and the build quality feels very sturdy. If your attic ladder is getting wobbly or not staying open properly, this kit is a great fix. Definitely happy with the purchase and would buy it again if I needed to.

Installed per the video and seem to fit pretty good. There is a slight difference but pretty close. Hinges seem to be stronger than the old ones that bent. It came with 3" lag screws and thought it said 2" on packing list. There is a lot of tension on those lag screws, so I do hope they are of good quality. I do not see any reviews of them snapping off like I did on some of the other replacement parts available. I did this by myself but would suggest two people if possible. Make sure and check the label on thge stairs themselves.

Although somewhat expensive (shouldn’t be more than $50 at most) it worked like a charm. Bought it to replace on older hinge that had snapped and broke off. Installation was easy and straightforward, took me around 45-60 minutes to install by myself (only replaced one side) New spring adds additional tension that helps the attic door snap close. Definitely recommend for those older attic ladders (mine was installed in ‘89). Overall great purchase, no regrets.

These were a perfect fit for my 50yr old attic stairs. I recommend "massaging" packing grease at the joints.

My review is mixed. The pro is that these ladder hinges fit with my attic ladder and they have fixed our problem. The hinges feel thicker than the original. The con is the pictures I posted of the supposed directions that came with this product. The YouTube video link does not work and I can only assume the person who “wrote this” used google translate. I love being insulted by the people I just spent money with. We almost returned it through Amazon but when I googled directions for this product, I was able to find a real company that had posted very clear, step by step, directions for my husband to follow.

Great replacement set for a Werner Attic Master W2508. Replacement could have been made a bit easier if they labeled which side arm goes to, as the instructions are quite unclear, but if you are somewhat handy it's easy to figure out. The arms are thick and won't bend and the springs are pretty stiff, so once installed it will take a bit of force to pull down the ladder. Overall good product and should last 25 years of weekly use. I hope to never have to buy another set, but this is a great replacement product.

Like other reviews have stated the hinge rivets are extremely tight, and I had to put the hinge in a vise and move it around until it loosened up. The bracket fit in the existing position of the old one and the hardware fit the holes once you drill into the studs according to the instructions. Once installed it worked as it should. Although not a issue with the item itself, removing the existing rivets from the frame was one of the most frustrating aspects of the repair.

Absolutely did not work for me. Tried to use this to replace the original supports to my attic steps (house was built in 1955) that had broken. Unfortunately they are absolutely NOT made to support the weight of all-wood steps. Design seemed okay, and they seemed to be build decent enough, but they just wouldn’t hold those heavy wooden attic steps. So if you are like me and have an older home with wooden attic steps and the supports broke, you’re definitely going to want to AVOID these replacement shooog
