Bulk Vegan Protein Powder, Vanilla, 1 kg

My observations: This mixes really well. Even with milk, it's not gloopy, but tastes pretty similar with water.It's generally a few more g of protein than the 'normal' whey powders.Taste? It's made from peas so it's gonna taste a bit 'green'. However, it's refreshing as its not artificial. I opted for Vanilla, and can recommend.Texture wise, it is smooth, but also has a slight 'graininess' to it - I guess this is the pea powder, but it's not off putting at all. I'd buy this again over whey.

I have had it for a while and I was trying so much to like it but it tastes so bad. It is very chalky and if your making something with it, it overpowers all the other ingredients. Quality is not good and not worth your money.

I’ve been using this almost daily for a year now, have it on subscription, really like it! Versatile and can use in smoothies but also cakes, with yoghurt etc. never goes lumpy and doesn’t have any weird after taste. A good blend of different protein too.

UPDATE. As mentioned below, I settled for a smooth at 4:00. When I’ve had it (followed by a cup of tea!), instead of cake, I feel I have more energy for the rest of the day, and now look forward to having it.If you put the milk into the goblet before the powder, I found it blends ok - though I’m not using a full portion of powder.PREVIOUS REVIEW When I opened this packet, it smelt superb. I was looking forward to adding it to my musli. I soon regretted it. It has a strong background flavour which completely overwhelms the flavour of anything else, and definitely the vanilla I had chosen.I tried adding it to my fruit and yoghurt with the same effect. I have settled on blending it with milk and a satsuma and just drinking it as a health product which doesn’t taste too brilliant.I will try an unflavoured one next time and see if I can add it to gravy. Maybe the flavour will blend better with savoury than sweet.The powder doesn’t blend in too brilliantly either. So far I have put it into the goblet before the liquid but it tends to stick to the side. Will try liquid first next time and report back if it works better.

This is one of the few vegan protein powder my sensitive IBS prone stomach can tolerate and I love it!No idea why other reviewers say it tastes terrible because it totally doesn’t- the Vanilla is just right.Also love the fact that it doesn’t have loads of unnecessary ingredients and uses Stevia as a sweetener.

Value for money: 0/10Had it first time with milk and water, had to really chug it. It leaves a sand-like feeling in your mouth, definitely not a pleasant experience.Gave it another chance by adding greek yogurt, milk, granola, fruits, chocolate chips, cocoa powder (I really tried) . It mixed well but other than that it's bad.

We have used various vegan protein powders and unfortunately this is not one of the nicer ones. The taste is lacking and not particularly vanilla-y and it doesn’t have the best texture. It’s also not a particularly high protein content compared to others out there. I bought it as I’ve been very happy with other products from bulk but won’t be repurchasing this one

I was a bit dubious due to some comments about taste and texture. Price is great much cheaper than others. I was using a whey powder which tasted great but had to change as allergic to it. Got this and the taste is really good - honestly. I like it. I mix it in a blender and texture is fine. Will stick with this. No complaints from me!

Sehr guter Geschmack, perfekt für Bowls – klare EmpfehlungIch habe vorher das geschmacksneutrale Bulk Vegan Protein verwendet, weil man oft hört, dass das „am saubersten“ sein soll. Für mich war das geschmacklich aber eher nichts – funktional okay, aber kein Genuss.Nachdem das neutrale Pulver leer war, habe ich mir die Vanille-Variante (New & Improved Formula) bestellt – und ich bin ehrlich positiv überrascht. Der Geschmack ist richtig gut, angenehm vanillig, nicht künstlich und nicht übertrieben süß.Ich nutze das Protein nicht klassisch als Shake, sondern rühre es direkt in eine Bowl (Beeren, Nüsse, Samen etc.) ein. Das Pulver löst sich dabei gut auf und wirkt fast wie ein leichtes Vanille-Gewürz, das alles abrundet, ohne die Basis zu überdecken. Genau das hatte ich mir erhofft.Ich kann die teils negativen Bewertungen ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Möglicherweise liegt das an der Zubereitung im Mixer – ich persönlich finde es eingerührt absolut top.Für mich stimmt hier alles: Geschmack, Konsistenz und vor allem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Werde ich definitiv wieder kaufen

Pour avoir testé des prot animal avant, très satisfait des vegan de bulk. Goût correct. Se dissout plus facilement avec une eau tiède. Bons résultats au niveau de la récupération.
