Best when prioritise stability and accuracy. Seamless integration with MyFitnessPal Apple Health and Samsung health are the reason why I choose Withings. Initially, I was worried about the negative reviews, but I didn’t experienced anything of that. investing ₹10,000 wouldn’t be bad deal.

Bought this after my Fitbit Aria gave up. Love the build quality, the intuitive setup and the ease of use. The app make it even better. A great first step to taking back control of your health.

I would have given 5 star as the scale quality is really good. Built is premium. Display is bright and nice. Reading of weight is accurate. Can't comment on accuracy of other metrics as i haven't done lab test for visceral fat, bone density etc. 1 star deducted due to quality of app. The withings app is a crap. Not user friendly at all.

Easy to connect to the withings mobile app. Parameters such as weight, visceral fat % , muscles % get automatically uploaded. Health being most important, I did not mind spending on this slightly expensive scale.

Only buy it to know weight, all the other readings are super inaccurate. The Fat percentage and muscle mass reading fluctuates a lot. For example, my I know I have a lot of fat stored and I'm almost obease, the scale shows that my body fat is 16%, I don't have any abs, I have a big fat belly. Super inaccurate.

My initial impression is that this is a beautifully designed set of scales. Looks very sleek, nice large display and not too large. Upon opening, I did find the installation process a bit fiddly (it refused to connect to my phone via Bluetooth) but once it did things became quite straightforward. In a nutshell, you stand on the scales, it measures a couple of things (weight, BMI etc) and sends the data to an app on your phone (I have an iPhone). The app then tracks the data and presents a couple of graphs to track progress. The nice things I liked: - able to set up multiple users on the application so you can track different people - display is nice and sharp - and large enough to read whilst standing on the scales - the app will connect to other applications (Apple Health, MyFitnessPal ,RunKeeper, Nike+ and for some reason Nest) - it will send and receive data to Apple Health which I really liked - fast to read your weight and also BMI. The things I just couldn't understand: - it will tell you the weather. No idea why, just look out of the window! I found that a pointless feature. - the manual/instructions are incredibly light and could really do with improving - it's essentially a quick setup guide and doesn't provide anything beyond that. I would imagine that, over time, the app will become more integrated with other items but utilising the existing smart phone ecosystems (e.g. Apple Health) is quite a clever idea and works well. I have read that the app has bugs but I haven't come across any so far. Overall this is quite an expensive piece of kit.... but if you are interested in tracking your weight and BMI and have a smart phone then it's worth serious consideration. *** UPDATE AFTER USING THIS FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS *** I'm still quite pleased with this and have set up multiple profiles - the scales detect who is using it and assigns the data accordingly (although I suspect it might get confused if there are several people with similar weights using it!). The behaviour remains confusing at times - sometimes it measures BMI, other times it doesn't (not sure why)... but overall it's been fine. One point to note - a traditional set of scales has a separate top which has springs linked to the bottom half of the unit. This means that it works well on solid surfaces, carpet, etc. This set has 4 columns that it rests on... therefore you need to have it on a hard surface (tiles, lino probably ok) for it to read weight data properly.

The reading does not transfer to phone many times. Glitchy product. Cumbersome set up. Not upto expectations.

Not user friendly

I like the product, does what it is meant to, seems to be accurate. I like how it takes multiple measurements, provides a good way of keeping track of progress via app. Setup was straight forward and I like how it has decent integration with other apps like MyFitnessPal for a holistic approach to personal health management. As a person with vision loss, there is no audio feedback from the device itself to know how long to stand on the scale for all measurements, but I wasn’t expecting this either (still would be cool to have option for at least a nice beep at start and end). I have enough vision to know that I can step off when the light on the screen goes out, but people without this level of vision might need to use a timer, and also might need to get help to consistently step on right position for accurate read and put tactile mark for independent use, which is easy enough as long as it doesn’t interfere with sensors. App is accessible enough with voiceover to make good use of, however at least one icon (I think it is meant to be for alerts/notifications) isn’t labeled. I hope the app continues to at least have a functional level of accessibility, but right now it is definitely usable for screen reader users. I like how I can use voiceover to read my weight to me on my terms.

Great scale, easy to use and sync with fitness apps, high quality feel, and has many useful function that add to its value! Would recommend for anyone serious about getting health and not just worried about weight.

There are thousands of BMI body fat scales here on Amazon, so choosing one can be overwhelming, and this one is more expensive than others. But I checked out the Withings company and they appear to be the first company that created scales like this which measure BMI, body fat, body water, bone mass etc so I felt more confident that their technology and software would be better and more accurate, and that they would invest in continually improving and developing their tech. I’m sure the accuracy of measurements on any of these scales is not as precise as equipment that would be used in a clinical setting, but overall the measurements are about what I expected so it does seem pretty accurate. And even assuming a margin of error, the consistency of the measurements over time is reliable and a good indicator of the changes within your body if you're trying to lose weight, lower your body fat, or gain muscle, etc. Overall this scale has the look and feel of a quality product, from the packaging to the design and build, as well as the size of the scale (larger than some others I was looking at). The iPhone app installed fine, had a few issues at first connecting my phone to the scale but restarted my phone after installing the app and that seemed to solve the problem. Easily set up multiple users. But note the scale doesn’t work on a 5G wifi network, works fine on 2.4G wifi. The iPhone app is well designed, a clean simple layout that is visually appealing and easy to navigate. It presents the data well and syncs with Apple’s Health app seamlessly. I had never heard of Withings before, but I would buy a product from them again.

J’ai acheté cette balance pour suivre l’évolution de mon poids sur le long terme, et je dois dire que je suis vraiment impressionné par la qualité du produit. Dès la première utilisation, on sent le sérieux de la marque Withings : la balance est élégante, solide et surtout très précise. Ce que j’apprécie particulièrement, c’est la facilité d’utilisation. En la connectant à l’application Withings, on obtient une mine d’informations utiles : poids, IMC, composition corporelle, historique des mesures… tout est clair et bien présenté. Et pour ceux qui préfèrent la simplicité, même sans l’application, toutes les données essentielles s’affichent directement sur l’écran de la balance — pratique et intuitif. Après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation, les mesures restent cohérentes et fiables, ce qui me permet de suivre mes progrès sans me prendre la tête. En résumé, c’est une balance parfaite pour ceux qui veulent un suivi précis et motivant, avec ou sans l’application. Une vraie valeur sûre signée Withings !

Puntos positivos: Las indicaciones en pantalla son claras y fáciles de interpretar, lo que facilita su uso diario. Aspectos a mejorar: La importación de datos de otras básculas es un poco complicada y podría simplificarse. La aplicación es funcional, pero se beneficiaría de mayor personalización y de la opción de ocultar las funciones de pago, que resultan un tanto invasivas. En general, es una báscula de calidad con margen de mejora en el aspecto de la app, pero cumple bien con su propósito.
