I ordered 2 bags of the Sweet & Hot, one looks fine and the other is about half molded......should I destroy or would you like it back???

Is this jerky susceptible to spoilage due to heat during shipment?

Highly unlikely, it's dried, sealed and has moisture control pack present. Unless there was some kind of contaminant present. I've only see beef jerky mold once in my lifetime and was smaller company with questionable Jerky. We ship to where we are all the time and weather here in summer is up to 120 degrees.

Great quality. Been eating this product for decades

I love beef jerky and have been eating it for over 40 years. I've pretty much have had every major brand and a lot of niche and local brands. While I can't say this is the best beef jerky I've ever had, it is extremely good for a major brand. Plus it goes on sale from time to time making it affordable. I also give this to my dog as a treat and he's really old so it can't be too bad for you.

I love Jack Link's Beef Jerky. I almost didn't order it due to the reviews about the mold, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway, because it's so much cheaper than the in-store prices. Mine arrived in great shape, and was fresh. The only issue I have with it is the same I have with all the jerkies these days. They're all too moist. There really shouldn't have to be an expiration date, which is, or was, the point of jerky in the first place. I open the bag and lay out the pieces on paper towels on a plate and let it dry. Of course, I have to hide it in the microwave, or it I'd eat it all before it had a chance to dry.
