This was a very well received present! They look great, the smell and taste is fantastic and they last long. I would probably put them in glass containers. I usually use the bigger version of the same brand and it just makes everything taste absolutely awesome!

This is an excellent product. I had never heard of liquid smoke before until I came across a recipe in Reese Witherspoons book 'Whiskey in a Teacup' (check out her 'Smoked Pecans' recipe). I have found so many uses since..added to homemade chilli it gives a nice smoky BBQ kick, add to marinades (I used it in a marinade I concocted for halloumi & it was amazing), add to a humble tin of baked beans with a teaspoon of Belazu Rose Harrissa, try it in Tomato Ketchup, Mayonnaise, stir fry..there is so much you can do with this. I will say that you can avoid making everything taste like it's been 'smoky BBQ'd' by controlling the quantities you use..if you're just trying to create depth of flavour with a 'hidden something' ..use a small quantity with a spoonful of honey or Maple syrup or black treacle. This has definitely become one of my store cupboard must haves. ..oh..& it's great on cheese on toast too.. Obviously..I highly recommend this product. (I did not receive any incentives to write this review..sadly!).

Amazing product that adds real depth to certain dishes. A little goes a long way. Just some ideas. Add 1/4 teaspoon to mayo/ketchup/salad cream mixture for smoky burger sauce no-one will forget. A dash in beans or even baked beans transforms them. Add a teaspoon to stir fry's for that authentic smoky flavour. It's great for any vegan meat substitutes. Most applications only need a tiny amount. The most I have used on one dish is a teaspoon for a big pot of bolognese sauce. If you like smoky flavours this is a must buy.

Bought a Hendi Dehydrator from here (must leave a review) and done a few batches of jerky now and wow what a difference to the flavour. Only tried the Pecan & the Maple sp far but with the marinade I've made up I have to keep an eye on the finished supply when my daughter comes round !!!

Good stuff. If you love a BBQ and that smoky flavour you are on to a winner! Only need a few drops so with all these bottles you can afford to give some away!
