What are the ingredients in this? Is there aspartame or another artificial sweetener, or are you meant to just sweeten it yourself by adding sugar?

There is no added sweeteners, just add your own. I use sugar, but I use half of what they recommend on package and it is sweet enough for my taste. Ingredients are citric acid and natural and artificial flavors. Makes a flavorful and harmless drink, I love it and have used it for many, many years. Hope this helps.

I just got mine (Jan. 2022) and the expiration date is May 2023, so no problem.

The drink mix expires 2 years from today. The powder is not hard or lumpy. Seemed to have a different flavor this time around. Us kids like the flavor from the first time around better, but this will do.
