Great snack without all the fillers in other brands - individually wrapped - keep in freezer and pull one out for a lunchbox or in a backpack - grandson loves the spicy and we all love the regular - HEALTHY so don't have to worry about what they are eating

First of all, "Amazon verified buyer" does NOT mean that they sent me this for free so that I'd review them, which is what I've always thought it meant. My bad. I guess it means that the reviewer is a long-time Amazon shopper, and not some robo-reviewing machine to up a product's ratings. I'm a real human and did not receive any money for buying or reviewing these sticks. Ok, good to know! That said, these turkey sticks are *amazing.* I try to stay away from all the processed BS out there, but between work, going back to med school, camping weekends & airplane rides when I can fit them in, steering clear of pre-packaged junk is hard. These snack sticks are an absolute life saver, and surprisingly fill you up for close to 2 hours. I usually pair mine with an apple, and even though I'm a red meat eater as well, I much prefer the turkey sticks to the beef sticks. These sticks are my go-to protein snack! Paleo-yum!!

Well, all I have to say is after the 1st purchase I had to purchase more the 2nd time!!! (25) I did purchase a small amount for a road trip with my kids. They worked GREAT!!!! My children have immune system problems and eating real food on a road trip is, well impossible!! We never eat out, and I only eat grassfed, organic, and pastured products, which means I should be living on a farm, but don't! We eat basically, 80% raw foods mostly vegetables, herbs, and fruit. Little to never any grains. Yet, these turkey snack sticks were great for protein on the go, and my family and I never had problems digesting these AT ALL!! Actually, they are so good, you get full on eating a package, actually stuffed. So, I know these are the REAL DEAL! Great for food on the go!! Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, friends house, even dinners at the in-laws house, and the obvious road trips :-) Yes, these are great and my kids think they are the best tasting meat snacks they've tasted in years, and I mean years!!! Thanks so much for making these turkey snacks available for the public to purchase!!!! They TASTE GREAT!!!!! Not too salty, or chewy, and they aren't greasy either. They're just plain perfect! Great taste. Good protein snack.

I got them as one of the few Paleo friendly portable food options available. They are absolutely NOT like a Slim Jim. About the only similarity is the inner texture. There is no greasy liquid in the wrapper and there is no "snap" when you bite them. Assuming its just fuel for the body this meets the need. I did not find the flavor particularly bold or really even overly detectable. They are, well, just stick of meat. I will probably buy them again but turned to them this time as my preferred version was out of stock. A packet of mustard would have them a little more entertaining.
