The install tutorial leaves a little bit to be desired but you can clearly see what hardware is used where or deduce what needed to be used in what wasnt explained verbally. My only slight gripes are the supplied clips need more closing tension to stay in place on the front wheel well tabs when threading the screws in, and the L bracket could benefit from an extra angle to make it easier line up in between the well liner and the chassis. The flaps themselves are great quality and very sturdy, but they are new and I'll update this if I notice quick degradation from my standard daily driver usage. For install a short(4-5") Phillip's screwdriver will be needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality product at a competitive price *by J***S on May 20, 2021* I purchased the Rek Gen mud flaps for my 2018 Subaru WRX Premium because I love the way mud flaps look on rally cars, and that's why I bought them. But I also noticed that I had significant spray marks on my doors / rear quarter panels after driving in wet conditions. Not that the mud flaps are installed that's no longer a concern. They are very sturdy, even holding up after I entered a car wash with a propelling track. The corners of the mud flaps were bent out a little bit, but I corrected that by hand easily. The mounting hardware was not affected and kept the flaps firmly on the car. I won't make that mistake again, LOL. They were priced very well compared to similar products, and I was able to mount them without removing the tires. It was challenging, but it was not overly difficult. The plastic push in clips for the rear flaps were the most difficult part. I simply used handle of my screw driver to push them in by wedging it against the tire for leverage. Easy peasy after I figured that out. I would purchase these again with no hesitation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't even bother with Rally Armor mud flaps... *by C***G on July 11, 2019* ...If you're thinking of getting mud flaps for your 2015+ WRX/STI, get these. The Rekgens are stiff, the texture matches the front and rear plastic facias of my WRX perfectly and the lettering looks awesome against my red bodywork of my 2018 WRX. They're easy to install with simple hand tools. A couple tips. One, take your wheels and tires off. Just do it, you'll thank me that you did. The working extra room to work is well worth it. Two, watch the installation videos that are all over youtube. The instructions that came with Rekgens, as well as the online instructions aren't very clear. Less mechanically inclined folks could have trouble unless they have the online videos to refer to. The Rekgens look so good on my Pure Red 2018 that my son picked up a pair for his dark blue 2017 WRX. The Rekgen's lettering comes in several colors. The red and blue look awesome.
