As expected and as advertised!What we bought : Eddie Bauer Classic Down Heavyweight Jacket and we love it !Pluses : Great appearance, fun colors, warm but not a heavy weight and perfect fit. We got a size bigger for the age but check the measurements for your child (I have a taller kid and we wear a sweater under) Love the bright blue color, so I can actually spot my kid in a sea of grey jackets . No restrictions on movement, not a bulky fit , and the length is just right . The sleeves are perfect and have elastic cuffs. The jacket covers the lower back well but not too long so kids can be as active as they can. Sherpa lining is soft and cozy . Great call on the hood lining - it keeps kids warm when they lose the hat in school ( I’m guessing we are not the only ones) We paired it with the same blue color snow pants from artix that comes w bib for those snowy winter days.We like that’s this jacket versatile to be able to ski and tubing or just to walk to school ( gasp . Yes we walk a lot in Chicago winter no matter what weather and we strongly recommend it , yay for exercise, fresh air and oxygen for the brain) overall it’s a cool, warm, affordable and washable jacket. (Machine wash ) good style that doesn’t look like it’s from the last century . We recommend it and Can’t wait to wear it . Will update after this winter if lasted or if my kid killed it ... I bought this for my son who is 13 yrs old, 5ft tall. He's about 85 pounds. I bought him a 14/16 and fits him nice. He's able to wear a hoodie underneath and it's ok. It's very soft and cozy on the inside. Def a good price for this coat. It's a nice, warm coat.

However, this issue seems to have been a one-off, as the replacement jacket arrived in perfect condition, with no issues with the logo or any other part of the jacket. This coat has a super soft lining with a waterproof outer shell. It’s warm, durable and made well. The hood has elastic to keep it on my son’s head. The blue color is vibrant and after washing remains bright. This is a great, high quality, durable coat. I will buy again next year.

This is high quality, warm, stylish jacket.My boy (almost 7) loves this jacket and he normally hates clothes. He’s had it for 3 weeks so far and hasn’t left it at school once. It has metallic looking designs which helps the cool factor at that age.

This jacket literally exploded. I bought this for my son and was initially pleased with the softness and warmth. He pointed out that there was a hole in the left pocket lining when he first put it on, which I overlooked. Two days later the left pocket zipper slid off in his hand. A few days after, the other pocket zipper did the same thing. The same day, the pocket ripped straight down, through the lining sending feathers everywhere (yes we were in public). He was like a feathery piñata. We had to buy a new coat on the spot. This was a result of gentle use and we only had the coat for a week and a half.

Warm, cozy, and light, but NOT bulky or heavy. My son went snowboarding in it. The sizing seems accurate. My son is a small 14 year old, purchased size 14 - 16, and it was large on him.
