**Q: Can this be used for a marine floating dock?**
A: Yes, but it should be coated. 
You could use Bounce with All Purpose Foam Coat mixed in to give it some body.
Some people coat them with a Polyurea, like what is used for bedliners. Make sure that the coating won't dissolve the foam.

**Q: I wanted to make a goddess zelda harp out of this, this being the base. would this work? It's only a non-functional costume piece.**
A: This solid 12" x 14" x 22" foam piece is higher quality white foam and lends itself well to a hot wire cutter. But, does not sand well at all.  It can also be glued together and then cut if a larger size is needed.  A very very sharp knife can cut it slowly and smoothly in a saw action, but go slow,

**Q: I would like to cut this to make a camera support for my car window for a large lens.  google puffin pad for ref pic.  will it work?**
A: This is a rigid foam. Looking at Puffin Pads, they seem to be made primarily from a softer polyethylene foam, similar to our Armor Foam which is often used in camera and equipment cases.
