Brooks England Proofide, Bike Leather Saddle Maintenance and Care Cream

Wasn't sure how to clean my Brooks Saddle on my Pashley Bicycle. Saw this and read the recommendations so placed an order. Please note that this comes in a very small container, but one uses so little to make the saddle supple. Great product for those who are selective when cleaning good, leather saddles. Pricey, but worth it. Thank you.

Branded wax to properly condition your leather saddles. Spreads easily and protects leather well to insure your saddle will last a long time.

Got a new Brooks B 17 saddle and it took every mile of 200 miles to break it in. The most substantial gain was when I applied this product and I felt it broken so much faster!

Quantity was smaller than expected.

Saves your ass regularly

When I first got the saddle, I did not realize that it came with a small sample of this to treat it, so used LP conditioner instead. Once I took apart the packaging I realized a small amount of Proofide had been supplied. I put it on there, too. I now realize why you want to use this instead of plain leather conditioner. Proofide has some type of volatile oil in it that helps to penetrate through the finished leather (I could tell from years of working with essential oils) that would make it work better than a plain leather conditioner. Will continue to treat with just the Proofide in the future.
