Great soap - the smell doesn't linger
Very nice soap at a good price. No more stinging from vicious soaps! For anyone who is concerned about it, there is a smell of the coal tar, but it is gone in minutes.

Great soap, helped with spots
This soap doesn't smell awesome but it's so good for my skin and I've never had less spots. Great value for money a bar lasts me about 20 days with a shower every morning. Bar is a little bit unappealing in colour but I believe that's because it doesn't have anything unnecessary added.

Good Stinky Soap
Is it good soap that cuts through oils and grease? Yes, very much so. Does it lather up well? It does. Do you feel clean after using it? You do indeed. Does it smell? OH, it PONGS - even with a ceiled tub to put it in in between uses, your place ( not jsut bathroom, but attached rooms to your bathroom ) will smell strongly of some kind of pot-pouri mixed with what i can only describe as..horse stables?? It's a nice strong smell when using it - but that lingering smell is really not what you want.

Soaps are very small in comparison to what they used to be, but they are still good value for money and have a great nostalgic smell.

The soap lathers well, soft and smooth on the skin ......... BUT only if you can stand the really strong Coal Tar smell. When it was CoalTar Soap it was a bit "pungent" This soap with artificial Coal Tar smell is too much for me, makes bathroom, bedroom and hallway all smell of it. Now the bin ......

Beautiful soap
Amazing soap clean fresh smell just as i remember it as a child...

This soap definitely does what it’s meant to do and leaves skin feeling really clean. That said, the smell is strong and very old school. Honestly it makes you smell like you just walked out of a shoe maker’s workshop. Not unpleasant, just very distinctive. It’s clearly a classic for a reason! The smell is very unique. Great cleansing power and long lasting, but the scent might not be for everyone. I’ll keep using it, just maybe not right before heading out.
