I bought this to burn the cloth tissue patches on my suits, and it works really well for me. Easy to use, heats up quickly, and comes with useful accessories. Highly recommend.

Obviously not the best soldering iron you'll come across but for the money it is a complete kit to do those little soldering jobs. I have tested the power and it does consume 80w so heats up well. Clearly this iron isn't big enough to solder lumps of steel together but it will work well on all normal electronic circuits. I also used it to solder some reasonably hefty motor wires. I dont normally need/use a soldering iron but in those one off situations (maybe like working on the car electrics and working remotely on random kit) it has come in handy.

So far so good, I got this instead of buying replacement tips for my old soldering iron; it was only about £8 more so a good price. Handy to have the other bits and pieces, the only thing that I'm not so keen on is the stand which us not as robust as the one I've had for years. It is functional though. I'll update this once I've used it a bit more.

Just bought this, because I needed a cord free iron for working on computer chips/motherboards. Looked at all the other write-ups, and some other irons, and this looked like the best punt. There were a couple of negative ones, but nothings perfect. However, so far, it does what they say, fast heatup, easy to use like a pen, idles when put in stand, and picks up to temp again when you reuse it. Selectable temp and display is good, and I mostly use about 350° working temp, which melts resin core solder quickly. Fairly sturdily made body. Long battery life in use. Thats the good points, but there are a couple of cons. I dont like the plastic locking screw, I wonder how long that will last. The soldering iron tips (3) have a very small working tip area, and won't cope easily with big solder blobs. The iron is really for small jobs, which I use it for. I use my solder station for bigger stuff. Looked for replacement tips, in case, so if you're looking for some, they are C210. They are quite long. Would I recommend it? Yes, but be advised its designed for small work. Oh, I see some people say it comes up with a fault condition EO or so, when turned on. This is almost always due to the fact the iron tip is not fully pushed home in the unit. This can cause other problems too. Also, do not set the temperature too high, or you will quickly burn out the tip. If unused for 5mins or so turn it off. Helps to extend the life of the tips.

This is a great soldering iron. Heats up in seconds so you can get to the task at hand. Was struggling with an old soldering iron I'd not used in years and wasted way too much time and ended not finishing the task with loads of frustration, so gave this a try. Was conscious of the price, you get what you pay for... , but definitely recommend this after using it for 2 minutes. Everything In the zip box is useful. Soldering is easy when you have the correct tools that work properly. Even better that it has a switch all the extras and does not cost an arm and a leg and three kidneys and, and it saves time.

Do not buy the wireless soldering iron. Wither the battery they sell it with is faulty or not as advertised as it doesn't seem to hold a charge. I fully charged it to full before first use, and then left it in its box overnight. Came to use it in the morning and set it to 400°C for it to die 15 - 20 seconds into the job. Tried charging it again for ot to do the same. Tried using it while it was plugged in as it advertised it can do, kept shutting off. Either a faulty unit or a misleading description, save your money

Ho acquistato questo kit per piccoli lavori e riparazioni fai da te e mi sono trovato molto bene. Il saldatore si scalda rapidamente e la possibilità di regolare la temperatura tramite il display è molto comoda, soprattutto si è adattato a i diversi materiali e lavori. Il kit è abbastanza completo senza dover acquistare altri accessori. Anche per chi non ha molta esperienza risulta semplice e pratico da utilizzare.

It comes with a two pin plug so be aware you will need an adapter. Not sure why Amazon are selling these without a UK plug
