I Sprained my 2nd toe on my right foot. That being said, it’s been hard to just wear the hard shoe they gave me at the doctors office so I found this on amazon. I wear a size 10-10.5 in women’s shoes and I would say this is very versatile for size and fits best on your middle toes (2nd, 3rd,4th). As you can see in the picture, I placed it alongside the bottom of my toe but ran it along the top and fit it so go over the top knuckle on my toe, keeping it from being able to move upwards much. I have some swelling still so I fit it where it’s just snug enough it doesn’t hurt much. I can understand how people might be confused on how to use it since there are no instructions but if you adjust it onto whichever toe you need it on, then use 1 of the 4 additional metal pieces they provide you, you can form it to your toes better to fit the sizing and help it stay in place. That way you can Velcro it into place and it will provide the best support possible. As for staying on, it’s probably a lot easier to keep on while wearing a sock. These are just my recommendations based on my common sense and medical knowledge. This works well for me and durability will be tested while I wear this for the next couple weeks while my toe heals. It’s extremely adjustable and should work well. I would say its definitely washable with some antibacterial soap and an air dry. I hope this review helps anyone in need. :)

Landfill. I wear a women’s size 9 shoe and these are so long that they would only maybe work for the big toe. Extremely painful as the lower section would dig into top of foot below toe on each step. The top extended a half inch beyond middle toe. They would be good for fingers maybe.

Very easily slips off toe! When used to immobilize a broken toe, it cannot tighten sufficiently due to pain.

These just don't stay on my toes and really bother the adjacent toes. I think if you have bigger (thicker) foot & toes maybe... but not great for narrower, female feet.

This is a well-made toe brace that worked perfectly for my broken toe. It arrived well packaged with clear instructions and had no unpleasant odor. The quality is impressive, and it seems durable and washable for long-term use. My only criticism is that it’s not ideal for smaller toes. For example, if you have a broken pinky toe, this brace may be too large. Also, keep in mind that wearing it with shoes or socks can be uncomfortable since it adds bulk to your toe and may cause crowding in well-fitted footwear. Make sure your shoes have enough room if you plan to wear it out for extended periods. Overall, I am very pleased with the value and performance of this brace. Once it’s on, it stays securely in place without slipping off. I give this toe brace for stars only because it is not fit for the smaller toes. For your reference of size comparison, I wear a 9 1/2 wide in women's and this brace was only well fitting for my big toe and my second toe.

Hard to put on, doesn’t fit on your toe. Well, as way too big to wear any time.

Surprised by how effective this is. Used for a toe with nerve damage, keeps toe straight all day. Only using metal splint under toe for support, but it works great all day. Fits in shoe, no extra bulk.

Maybe manufacturers could make a shorter-in-length, too.
