Each side of the cube has matching color coding in vibrant hues. Carrying velvet pouch is a nice touch alongside the snap fit enclosure to keep it well protected in a travel size. Two things matter, first its magnets are precision engineered into the casing of each Rubik's cube block lifting and creating a slim separation MagLev layer reducing friction while solving the puzzle but comes at the tradeoff of snapping together. Cube maintains its shape with minimal 3 to 4 degree offset of flex during gameplay exercises. Overall I couldn't be happier using the MagLev 356 type 3x3 speed cube to solve challenging exercises as its magnetic actuation mechanism rotates fluidly and its polished down rubiks blocks feel smooth on rounded edges.
