Step-by-Step Problem Solving, Grade 5 (Singapore Math)

One problem per page, deceivingly thick. Whole book is just additional word problems. Nothing dramatically different. Gave it a four stars given children will benefit from the additional practice, but they can get this from everyday texts.

The concept is great, but the book falls short. It doesn't explain the "steps" very well at all. Then there are only a few practice problems per type of problem. Greatly frustrated my student.

My daughter is in 2nd grade and this book is helping so much, I highly recommend it for home use or if someone is homeschooling. I just love it

My son was struggling with word math problems. After finishing this book not only does he no longer struggle but he actually enjoys them. This was a great addition to our home school workload.

I bought this book to get more knowledge on the new math as I've been out of school quite a while.

Good product, but book has very less worksheet pages.

i love it. Very useful and breaks it down so no child is stressed and clearly outlines steps you need to solve problems

This series of books are really well=presented and really well-laid out. I recommend them to Key Stage 2 teachers.
