I shouldn't love this thing as much as I do but when I'm in the mood to bed-rot it is the best. It is solid- I don't worry about the pillow not being able to hold the weight of anything I put on it but it is also soft and comfortable to have sitting on my lap. It has worked great for my laptop, reading physical and kindle books, coloring, and gaming with my switch. I broke my arms a while back and still have pain from it so the arms rests are a big help for me. If I want to sit cross legged I do need to pull it far in sit levelly but it is a small issue. I have had it that when I set it aside it can topple over if items aren't centered so just be aware of that. The pockets are nice and my only real nitpick is I wish it had a cup holder.

My husband and I just got steam decks so we could game together. My wrists and arms were killing me holding it for long periods of time so I went on a hunt for a solution. There weren’t a lot of options and after doing a bit of research and looking over reviews I settled on the small version of this pillow. The price is high but with the limited competition I can se why. So I got it next day which was awesome and we did a session of gaming this evening. I’m an average size woman 5’5”. This pillow fit me perfect width and height using it in bed. After a few hours of gaming I can say with confidence that this is worth its cost. I had zero wrist or arm pain. The pillow is very very firm. I was actually surprised. It feels high quality. It was ready to use within an hour of being out of the shrink wrap. It’s a hefty weight maybe 5lbs. The cover comes off to wash and the pockets are great for holding your phone or ear bud case or even a drink. I will say the cover material I slick so anything on it tend to slide a bit. Overall it solved a problem and it will be great for gaming, crocheting and gaming in bed! I’ll be getting my husband one as soon as the price goes back down.

It is wide, if your sitting in a snug chair you and the pillow won't fit. Comfortable and good firmness. Only thing I need to figure out is when not in use how to store them. Bought 2 of them, 1 for hubby and 1 for myself. We are both happy with them.

This is everything I hoped it would be, but I do want to point out that the strap shown in the pictures to fold it up for storage didn't come with it. I'm not sure that it would've been all that useful but if you're hoping for it you should be aware of that. Anyway, it's comfortable and useful. It doesn't put excessive weight on my lap, and it's a good size for the MacBook Air I have for work or the much larger old laptop I have for myself. The foam is firm and holds up my laptop well but far more comfortable than the hard lap desks I've had before. The biggest thing for me is that I've never had a lap desk with arm rests before. I have 2 bad shoulders so my shoulders ache after a while if I'm sitting at the computer without arm rests. This is so comfortable and I'm excited to use it for video games too. Bonus: if you have a snuggly cat who likes to step on your keyboard while you try to work from the couch, this might be helpful! I got the large and it fits around me with a little extra room between my tummy and the desk part, which creates a perfect little pocket for my cat. It kept him off my keyboard but I still got to enjoy some snuggles.

Product is 5 stars. Support is 1 star. That is where i get 3 stars from. It arrives misshapen but will fill out in a day or so. There are no instructions and the support number is not active.

I'm pretty frustrated with mine and I consider the listing false advertising. Part of the reason I bought this particular cushion is that the listing shows the "mezzanine" as a selling point and I've seen reviews where people state they can flip the extra piece over the top and use that to make the surface higher. Mine doesn't have that at all and I'm really disappointed. I wanted to be able to flip up the mezzanine so I had some flexibility since I mostly want to use this cushion to write on. I also thought it'd give me some flexibility because I didn't want the cushion resting completely on my legs or else I'd buy a lap desk. Instead I have a cushion that leans forward onto my knees the second you put weight on it and I can't even adjust the surface height with the mezzanine. Also generally, it's poorly designed. The arms shouldn't be the same height from front to back, our arms literally don't work like that. The slope you see in the pictures is really exaggerated and it's almost completely level on the real thing. I didn't realize how big of a problem it is but you end up with nowhere to put your elbows! And because it's so narrow you can't really tuck your elbows into your sides. Also, it's incredibly narrow both around the waist and further down so you have to keep your legs sticking straight out the whole time. I regret this purchase. About the only good thing about it is that the foam is actually quite firm. That being said, the surface actually has a small curve in the center so you can't lay something on it flat. I have an eink tablet I wanted to use to write on but it needs support across the whole back or else they can warp. If I used this cushion, I'd absolutely warp the screen and trash a several hundred dollar device. Get something else, this thing is going to mess up your biomechanics.

Update: This seller is extremely accommodating. The pillow/desk didn’t work for my mom—but I probably would have known if I had measured her before I ordered using the measurements they provide (but I didn’t because it was a surprise). Nevertheless, they reached out and assisted me with a refund when they realized we had no way to return it. I was very impressed. And, as you can see from my review below, the product itself is good quality/well made, so I will not hesitate to gift it to a larger person so it still goes to good use. Original Review: I got this for my mom to help support the weight of her iPad and books when she isn’t feeling well. She must be proportioned differently from the woman in the photos who is “gaming” because my mom is swimming in it. Now that she unwrapped it, there is no way to get it back in the bag or find a box to return it (it comes shrink wrapped). It’s too bad because it does seem really well made. I would suggest you literally check the measurements before you order (I haven’t double checked them but I assume the listing is correct)—I wanted to surprise my mom, so I was going off how it fit people in the photos and didn’t picture how wide and tall it would be on her. If I had sat her down with a tape measure, I would have seen it wasn’t going to work. So in that regard it’s not the company‘s fault, but I don’t feel like the photos really show just how big it is.

I bought this for my husband who is a home inspector and sits on our couch and holds his iPad to write the reports for his customers. This product supports his arms and the iPad while he spends time writing the reports and has been helpful to relieve the stress caused by holding the iPad for long periods of time. It took less than the 72 hrs as stated in the packaging to expand, its light and firm materials make it easy to position. This was a good investment.

It's really helps with the back pain when working from home especially if you are working from a couch

i bought this for my dad, he's a disabled senior who's partially paralyzed. He needed something to help him stay and feel secure whilst sitting upright and something durable enough to rest drinks or plate of food on. i had originally 3 pillows (one either side of him and one on his lap) with a large wooden cutting board for his table. but the pillows were uneven, moved, slid off the bed, etc THEN I FOUND THIS!! it's really helped him so much. It goes around either side of his body, and he feels safe and secure, while being able to do his crossword books, read, play game on his phone, using THIS product. It has pockets so anytime he watched tv the converter wouldn't get lost. The pockets are huge and can hold so much. My dad really appreciated this pillow. He's used it every single day since it arrived. the product is firm, but not hard or uncomfortable. My dads able to rest his arms on the table to make his iv insertion easier, to decrease swelling in his arms/hands, etc Awesome product 👌🏻
