Added this to paint, left wall lovely and glittery, easier to use using a brush than a roller, good value for money and left with a great effect, although you do need quite a lot, depending what you are looking for, I used nearly 2 packets for 2.5L of paint. Would buy again.

Hi, thanks for taking your time to read this review, i hope it helps you, if it does please do give it a 'helpful' rating. First of all, you must be looking for paint glitter because you either want your walls to look extra WOW or because you're daughters been bugging you for shiny wallpaper, well in both these cases, this oaint glitter is great. Its extremely simple to use, so does not really need instructions, just common sense, you can either mix it youself, just add it to any paint you're using, wether is be matt paint or another and give it a realy good mix to ensure the glitter is spread out across the whole volume of paint, then like a normal paint, just apply to your walls. It gives this glittery look when a light shines to it, but be aware, if you're painting a large room or a medium sized room, you might need more than one for a large paint tub, because sometimes in large volumes of paint, one packet is not enough to make a noticeable difference on your walls, so it could be a waste, do read instructions on website and it shows you how much to add tvo a certain ML of paint,. Overall, I think this paint glitter is great for all kinds of paintwork, wether it be an office, a study or a bedroom, its good for everything, and adds that extra wow factor.

I want to give five stars as the product is amazing visually but also I want to advise on paint suitability. I used this turquoise glitter alongside B&Q's Colours Durable range specifically 'Slate Grey' for my boys space themed bedroom. It is mentioned that buffing by use of a green scourer is required to expose and get the maximum effect from the glitter. This is a perfectly reasonable process if done correctly but as I've used a durable finish paint it's an impossible process to carry out as the finish is so hard the scourer doesn't touch it. I now have a childs bedroom that's supposed to be sparkling but isn't, I'll resolve this issue by sourcing a glitter glaze product. As I've said before this isn't a seller/product issue, this is my fault for not testing the product prior to coating all four walls. I am 100% confident that if I'd used a standard emulsion it would've looked amazing and I'd be giving it five stars.

Don't expect a full on glittery wall that sparkles like a Christmas card. This is a really subtle glittery effect that is so subtle you could easily miss it. We used a quality silk emulsion and did two coats on the wall. Then, we had approximately 1.5 litres of paint left and poured the whole pack in and stirred it until fully mixed. Using a medium pile roller we did two coats of the glitter paint in thin layers. Initially it was difficult to tell if the glitter was on the wall, especially as it was silk and light was reflecting on it hiding the effect. Once it had dried we stepped back and couldn't see anything! Feeling disappointed we started to consider buying a silver glitter to redo... then we looked at an angle in the sunlight and caught a glimmer of sparkling light... Nice but extremely subtle. We waited until it got dark and put the ceiling light on, excited to see the results... nothing! My daughter then got her phone out, turned on the torch and HEY PRESTO the wall lit up sparkling away. The next step was to experiment with lighting. Using a halogen spotlight, the bright light really brings the white glitter to life. Basically, don't expect in your face sparkling. This white glitter is extremely subtle but with the right lighting has a lovely effect. My daughter is now really pleased to have crisp white walls that glitter when she wants them to.

These paint crystals have made my bedroom room magical. I am surprised my husband didn't complain but he loves it too. I started off painting the walls. It looked so lovely I just wanted to add it to everything. Aside from the walls I have used it in gloss paint to do the doors and skirting boards. My bedroom draws/wardrobe have had the glitter make over, My fireplace also had a lick of glitter paint. I also added it to metallic paint to revamp an old mirror. Everything now sparkles. I used the suggested ratio of 100g to 1.5 litre paint, however I can see how using less would also be sufficient enough to sparkle your walls I would advise for best effect use silk paint, not matt. I found the more sheen the paint has the better the sparkle. The same applies with wood paints, ie It works better in gloss paint than it does in satin paint. The only bug bear is that it does need a nice lighted room to see the sparkles. I first used this glitter in my hallway. The natural lighting in this area is not the best and I can barely notice the sparkle (unless light is on). I have since done my bedroom which has loads more natural light and I love it.. It sparkles Perfectly. I tried to get a good photo but being as I used white paint it doesn't photograph well to show the true extent of It's sparkling loveliness. This one around my light switch you can see sparkles. I would highly recommend this glitter

Ich habe das Glitzer gekauft, um mein WC zu verschönern. Hat problemlos funktioniert. Ich habe für einen 5-Liter-Kübel 2 Packungen Glitzer verwendet, da mir eines zu wenig erschien. Sieht super aus!

Wenn man sich an die Mengenvorgaben von V1rtus hält bekommt man auch den gewünschten Effekt. Ich habe 2 Beutelchen auf 3 l Dispersionsfarbe verwendet. Die Farbe entspricht hellem Beton, daher der schwarze Glitzerzusatzstoff. Bei entsprechendem Lichteinfall sieht man ein leichtes Glitzern, so wie es gewollt war. Ich habe nichts nachpoliert. Ich habe versucht, ein Foto zu machen, aber man erkennt bei direktem Lichteinfall nur dunkle Pünktchen, das Glitzern ist durch den Ton-in-Toneffekt nicht so prägnant.Uns gefällt es sehr gut und ich überlege, weitere Projekte auf diese Art zu verwirklichen. V1rtus wird es merken, denn ich werde bei Bedarf mit Sicherheit wieder dort bestellen.

Personellement j'ai reçu un sachet de bonne qualité je suis très satisfaite , mon mari l'a mélangé dans 2,5 l de peinture (il n'a pas regardé les instructions qui recommandent 1,5l peinture) , mais on voit l'effet (sur le plafon et dans une peinture couleur ivoire comme nous l'avons utilisé ,peut être l'effet n'est pas assez bluffant , mais je vais en racheter d'autres pour les mettre sur les murs et dans des couleurs plus intéressantes - en éspérant de recevoir des paillettes de même qualité ). On l'a mélangé dans une peinture MATTE , je vérifierai ensuite dans une satinée .
