Great product. Strong magnet and mounting is solid. I originally thought it would be loose and break my vent but it actually mounts solid once tightened. Would definitely get more for other vehicles.

I travel a lot — ~20K+ miles per year. During that travel I’m on calls a huge majority of the time. I needed something that kept my phone in a safe place where it was reachable but out of the way.In my 2023 Kia Sorento, this worked perfectly. I was able to mount it on both the left and ride side of the steering wheel without issue. It would tighten up and not bounce or jiggle at all. I would lose airflow but that was the downside.When I switched to my wife’s 2023 Kia Telluride, this mount simply dos not work. The vent design is not compatible. So as long as you do your due diligence first, I certainly recommend this. The adjustability is great, the magnet is strong. It was a great solution when it worked in the Sorento.

I love the form factor and the ability to swing the device around and above my dashboard if I need to. I actually use this for Natix which is an app that lets you earn a bit of crypto by capturing video of your drive. And to do this, I need my smartphone to peak over my dashboard for the camera to get a clear view of the traffic. There are very few magnetic vent mounts that do this. Most notably, this UGREEN mount and the uber-expensive Peak Design vent mount.The UGREEN vent mount has a mostly plastic construction except for one critical part, the hook, which is made out of metal. This is unlike the Peak Design vent mount which has a plastic hook despite it being more than 4x more expensive. There is a certain simplicity in the UGREEN mount which is not present in the Peak Design mount: there is only a single knob to retract the hook and to adjust the angle of the arm.However, the addition of the ratcheting height adjustment on the arm is a mixed blessing. On one hand, it makes it easy to adjust the height on the fly without having to loosen a knob, but on the other hand, it also has a tendency to ratchet back down if im pulling the phone away to detach it from the mount. That is due to the mount's very strong magnetic strength, coupled with the relatively weak retention of the ratchet adjustment. I would say it has 3-4x the magnetic strength of the Peak Design mount. Another drawback of this ratchet design is that at the ratchet point, there is a wobbliness to it that you can't get rid of, no matter what knobs are tightened. This is due to the extra space in between the ratcheting teeth. My only solution then would be to superglue or Bondo this space so that the ratcheting mechanism is glued into place, making this adjustment no longer possible.Aside from my gripes with the ratcheting system, my only other complaint is that there is no secondary attachment point at the bottom like with the Peak Design which would help it feel more sturdy by distributing the force across 2 vent slats instead of 1. It's possible that Peak Design may have a patent on that particular dual-attachment point system since I don't see any other manufacturers that do it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this product just solved a problem that I was having. I had an older version of a MagSafe phone holder, but attached via my vent. It kept falling off. This one came yesterday. I had it installed in about three minutes and it works like a charm. It’s holding on the vent perfectly and the magnet is quite strong. No problems. I especially like how the vent clip is adjustable. It’s easy and fast to install and will fit a variety of vents. It does limit the adjustability of the vent in a blocks a little bit of the airflow, but that’s to be expected from a vent clip.

Absolutely love these phone mounts they hold strong they don't bounce around it makes it so that I can have my GPS going without it interfering with anything else and the little cup area in them makes it so that if you have a magnetic popsocket or a regular pop socket on there you can still use the mount without having to take it off
